Fertile mucus question

Miley
I'll briefly outline the situation.
We've been trying for 4 years. Two years ago, we found out I have PCOS and tried Clomid. Aside from all the side effects, it didn't help. Since my cycle is usually 34 days and I ovulate every time (plus I'm terrified of needles), we decided not to pursue any further fertility treatments.
What I've noticed about my fertile mucus is that it's not "stretchy" but rather extremely watery around the fertile days, like water...
Is that normal?
How do they test if you're compatible with each other?
Who can answer this?

Hi! That sucks, having to deal with that anxiety. It’s really not that bad, but it’s easy for me to say.

My fertile mucus was also watery; clear and a bit sticky. What you can do is put one finger inside and try to scoop up some mucus. Then, if you press another finger against it and slowly pull them apart, it should stick a bit between the two fingers. Does that work?

Hey, same here! It starts off watery, then after a day it gets sticky, and the next day I can pull it between my fingers—that's supposed to be the most fertile day, I've heard.
