Can't get pregnant

I've been trying to get pregnant with my boyfriend for 2.5 years, but it's not working. We've tried having sex every day, every other day, and every 3 days, but it still doesn't happen. I'm 21, we have our own little house, and I had an abortion when I was 17. There were reasons for it back then, but it's really hard for me to talk about. I was quite far along, and my baby bump never really went away, which makes it even harder... I don't dare go to the GP; I'm afraid they'll judge me because of my age and the abortion. Plus, I'm scared they'll report me to Child Protective Services, and I have bad experiences with them. Please help, what should I do? I'm scared, sad, and want this so badly, but it just isn't happening. I've tried ovulation tests, but with my irregular work schedule, it's hard to keep track.

Why would the GP inform youth care? You're 21 and no longer a child.
A previous abortion is no reason to condemn you later in life for a desire for a child that hasn't come true yet. There could be all sorts of reasons why you had to make that choice back then, and none of them have anything to do with the desire you have now.
Go to your GP anyway, and if your relationship with this GP isn't good, then find a new GP—you're not obligated to stay with your current one.

Only 21 and already 2.5 years at it? Nice that you started so early. Too bad it hasn't worked out yet. I'd go to the GP for a referral to the hospital. After trying for a year, regardless of age, you can already go to the hospital. After my miscarriage, I changed GPs because I didn't click with my old one, even though I'd been there since birth. Why would youth care need to be notified when you're an adult anyway?

    Pineapple.
There's nothing wrong with that, right.
I was also 19 years old when I had our daughter.
I'm now 28 years old and have been trying for our 2nd miracle for almost 4 years.

@lady no, quite the opposite! I actually think it's nice when people start so early

    Me too.
I've always said I wanted to be a young mom.

@lady I always wanted to be a young mom, but unfortunately I only met the right one later on, and it turned out it took a bit longer for us to have kids But luckily we got to have 2 beautiful little wonders
