Ovulation and no mood

Oh my!

I finally got my period after having my IUD removed (it took 1.5 months), and yesterday and today were my most fertile days, yet I had absolutely zero desire for sex. My partner wasn't the only one. I looked at my partner and it was clear. I really didn't feel like it, so it's a mutual thing. How silly is that, hahaha. So we went to sleep instead. The last time we had sex was on Tuesday, so hopefully, that one was the one. But it's so silly, right? Hahaha. Do you guys experience this too sometimes?

We did agree that it shouldn't become a "must-do" thing. Otherwise, the fun is quickly gone, you know.

For me, it's the exact opposite, so it comes in handy too.

We had the month I got pregnant but only had sex once and it still worked out!

    Amelie;

Yeah, I thought so too. It'll be fine, I'm sure I'll hit my most fertile days. Now I miss Poes hahaha.
Elena; oh that's super nice! Congratulations.
I'm expecting my period (hopefully not) on Sept 10. So I'm really curious!

Strange, isn't it? Most women are actually more horny during their fertile days (let's keep it Dutch, haha!). Isn't that just naturally ingrained in nature?
  5. chantall88 #6

Haha, doesn't matter at all. It shouldn't become a must-do! We only had sex twice in the month I got pregnant with this baby

Definitely shouldn't feel like a must! But I do recognize that extra desire during my fertile week. I've been off the pill for three months now and suddenly notice how much it can vary throughout your cycle (though I always have some desire, hehe!). But now that I'm not on the pill anymore, it's really intense during my fertile week, just like Mila says—super horny, hehe! What I've also noticed is that we don't need lube anymore after stopping the pill! That's wonderful, do you guys relate to that too?

Shanna's right. You're just so much more sensitive. To keep it nice and flat, hahaha. Yeah, I'm usually always okay too. But Tuesday was really intense. But Wednesday evening I was like... ugh, no energy. XD So maybe it was already weaker by then... I don't know.
But indeed, after the "artificial hormones," everything is different/more sensitive anyway.

Anonymous, it's nice that you recognize it and too bad you missed your egg. What do you mean by "otherwise wet"?
  9. . Guest #10

It's possible that it's still on track. What I've read is that sperm can live for a little while. According to my calculations, ovulation was on Thursday. And by Friday, my discharge was already very different. So I assume my calculation is correct. And in that case, we had sex on Sunday and Tuesday. So who knows.
Very different wetness. Uhm. When I was on the pill, I didn't necessarily need lubricant. But after stopping the pill, just kissing was enough... you know, xD

Oh, that's a shame, but that's totally normal. You've definitely got a good chance around ovulation too. Good luck with getting pregnant!
  11. Shanna Guest #12

Hihi. Oh, I feel you so much! I even wear a panty liner during my fertile week because it’s really intense! Do you do that too?

It’s so exciting when it’s a hit, right!
  12. . Guest #13

Orchidee, thank you! And congratulations to you too ^^.
Shanna, Yessssssss. Hahaha oh oh oh. Well, it’s okay then. Yeah, secretly I really hope it’s a hit. Then we’ll be around our due date .

We’ll just have to wait and see.
How long have you two been trying?
  13. Shanna Guest #14

Three rounds, but it's sometimes tricky with the timing of sex. For example, I'm working night shifts now, so I hardly see him.

Unless he wants to drop by during my break
  14. Anonymous Guest #15

Hahaha literally just bouncing by xD.

Yeah, it's tough here too. My partner has irregular shifts.
Now waiting to see if it's hopefully not a period?
  15. Shanna Guest #16

How do you guys do it? Still spontaneous sex, or do you plan it out? I find it quite thrilling during my fertile days whether we'll manage to hit the right moment!
  16. Anonymous Guest #17

Well, still spontaneous sex. But this time I got lucky that the timing fell within his free days. But I do find it pretty difficult. We often end up having sex in the mornings instead of the evenings.
But if this round doesn’t work out, I’m not sure it’ll be easy timing things with my fertile days either. I work normal hours (max until 9pm) and my boyfriend only works late shifts, so he usually starts in the afternoon and finishes around 2am.

I just logged in for a bit, Shanna. But I was... and anonymous xD easier this way.
  18. Shanna Guest #19

Hi Beertje! Yeah, that's tricky, right, with those schedules that don't match up! For us, it's also the most challenging in the morning, but we already have two girls running around. So we have to fascinate them first with a movie or a game. Luckily, that works out, but then you have to get out of bed, do something, and then go back again. Sometimes I find it a bit of a mood killer!
  19. Beertje123 #20

    Yeah, that's pretty tough, yeah.
Well, anyway. Luckily it's not a must.

And yeah, I get what you mean when you have to get out of bed first. But it's still nice to have two girls .

My belly has been super bloated since yesterday and I'm just passing gas. Super annoying.... back to work tomorrow. What will it be ????. Usually it goes away after I've been to the toilet, but now it doesn't help....
