Good morningggg,

I had a positive ovulation test in my hands last Monday, and to my shock, I just discovered bright red blood on my WCP paper after peeing. It’s not a lot, and I’m not bleeding anymore now? It seems unlikely that this is my period, since I ovulated last week? My cycle is around 31 days. Could this have been implantation bleeding? Or what else could it have been? I don’t have any pain, so no cramps.

    If there's a lot of blood, don't think it's implantation bleeding. I had that and was very light, salmon-colored. I think your period came through. I took two ovulation tests on the 29th and 30th, both positive, and got my period on 9dpo.

    So I really read different things everywhere. This is what I found online:
    - The color of implantation bleeding is usually pink or brown. Bright red blood can also occur, just like getting a nosebleed spontaneously.

    I've never had a nosebleed, and yesterday I suddenly got one. Every body reacts differently, of course, so some might bleed more than others, and some people don't have implantation bleeding at all. I just have to be patient and test next week if I still haven't gotten my period. But I'm sooooo impatient!

    I had implantation bleeding during one of my four pregnancies. For a few days in a row, during the week before my period, I noticed clear red blood when wiping. It lasted about 3 to 4 days in a row, once a day.

    I had some light implantation bleeding.

    With my “implantation bleeding,” I had a little pinkish spotting on the day of Nod. Really just a few drops, that day.

    Exciting!!

    I think it could well be implantation bleeding! I lost some red blood one evening and had some cramps, so I was upset thinking I was on my period! The next day it was just brown, and the day after that also brownish blood, about a panty liner per day. The first evening it was a regular small pad though. But then it stopped, and I thought huh???? And I was pregnant! So I hope it's the same for you! Just be patient and if you don't get your period, take a test!

    For me, it was really not even a panty liner. I wiped the blood away with a piece of toilet paper, then stuck a panty liner in my underwear, but it stayed clean. @Saartje how many dpo were you when you had that bleeding? I read everywhere that people had it right before their period. I had a positive test on Monday, so was my ovulation on Tuesday or Wednesday? Then I'm about 5 dpo now? That's really quite early, isn't it? I hope it's nothing, but it makes me doubt a bit! But well, what else could it be? I've never had this before, and I'm in round 6 now. It was also bright red blood, so it doesn't seem like ovulation bleeding to me? I should have had that a long time ago, or it would have to be brown old blood? But it wasn't! Oh, I'm really driving myself crazy, I'm so impatient wahaha

    It was exactly the same for me. Here, a week after ovulation. And only a little bit of red when wiping. Then nothing else for the rest of the day. For a few days in a row. Then about 3 days with absolutely nothing, and then a positive pregnancy test.

    With me it was indeed later, I just double-checked. First pregnancy: 11, 12, and 13 dpo, and second pregnancy: 12, 13, and 14 dpo. Normally I get my period 10 days after ovulation, so this was already a bit overdue in both cases. But it's still exciting, Sharon! When is your due date and when do you plan to test, if at all?

    I find it really exciting too, haha! Last Monday I had a big, fat positive ovulation test, so I think my ovulation was on Tuesday or Wednesday? Last Monday morning I had some bleeding, then no more blood was found, and I've been walking around with a bloated stomach all week, and sometimes my intestines rumble a bit. I don't know exactly when my expected period is? If you look at that ovulation test, then I think Tuesday or Wednesday? But I remember from last month that I had a positive ovulation test on Sunday, and 2 weeks later on Sunday I got my period. So maybe my expected period is on Monday? I don't know! I'm going to test next Monday, if it's negative then, and if I'm not on my period by Thursday, I'll try again on Friday. It's so weird, because I've never had such bleeding before. So secretly I do have hope, but I don't dare to hope too much, haha.

    I just got my period unfortunately. A bleed says nothing at all, as we know. On to the next round!
