Sperm research man

mama
Hi everyone,
I hope I'm doing this right.
I think I've posted this question on multiple pages but can't find it anymore, so I've opened a new thread.
Could someone maybe take a quick look? Because Google always seems to give different answers than what the doctor says. My husband's semen analysis came back...

Number of spermatozoa: 7
Volume: 4.0
pH: 7.2
Good motility grade A: 7

Moderate motility grade B: 19

Poor motility grade C: 9

Immotile grade D: 65

VMC basal: 7.3

Progressively motile cells (A+B): 26 l

Total motile cells (A+B+C): 35 l

What should I make of this? Is this good or not so good? Thanks in advance for reading... Greetings

What does the GP say about it?

    Hi,

It's actually okay. There are just a bit low sperm cells present.
But the ones that are there are good. So a spontaneous pregnancy could happen.
However, the VCM of 7.3 falls into the scale of 3-10 and then they start talking about IUI again.
    She sometimes contradicts herself.
That's why I'm a bit confused. On Google you read so many things, so I hoped maybe someone here could help me and explain how it works.
    Love

No one can convince me otherwise? :-(

Oh my goodness, my husband had no sperm cells, so I really can't make much of those results ;(

The results don't mean much to me, unfortunately.

For IUI, you need at least around 1 million good, motile swimmers.
If the count is as it is and not x million, then you're more likely heading towards IVF/ICSI.
1 million is enough, unfortunately, doesn't quite apply here. You need multiple swimmers to break through the egg wall.
