Chance of pregnancy?

Hi everyone,
My partner and I (both 24 years old) were actually planning to start trying for a baby in about six months. Right now, things are a bit hectic due to some small circumstances. I accidentally missed two pills in the second week of my previous cycle (about 3 weeks ago), which caused me to get my period. My GP prescribed me a different pill with much lower hormone levels for this last half-year. I started taking this pill one week after the first day of my period. So I had a 7-day break. Due to the move and other things, I missed two pills in the first week of my current cycle. It's now too late to take them. I'm wondering if there's a chance of pregnancy. We've had intercourse in the past few days and also on the days I missed the pills. Is there a chance of pregnancy?

Yes, it's there. Definitely in week 1.. if you were less than 12 hours late you could still have taken both pills, but you're now more than 12 hours late.. and then there's a chance of pregnancy. You could also have gotten the MAP as a precaution, if you don't want to get pregnant right now.

So it's a wait-and-see situation, but you do run the risk of pregnancy. If you don't want to get pregnant yet, I'd recommend being double safe, or taking another form of contraception.
