Too many eggs

Hi everyone,

We've been trying for baby #2 for a year now, and with baby #1 they also said "oops, something isn't 100% right" (the gyn). Recently I had another ultrasound, and indeed, another gyn said I have too many eggs in my ovaries (normal is 8, and I had 16 on one side and 12 on the other). She didn't want to give more explanation either. She also said "you get your period every month, so you must be ovulating." Now I need to have blood drawn on day 5 and 21 of my cycle to check my hormones. Does anyone have this too? What is it or what does it mean?

Can my eggs not grow sufficiently due to lack of space or something else?

Thanks in advance everyone.

I don't know if this helps you. I have too many eggs, and because of that, they don't develop properly, and I rarely ovulate (PCOS). That's how my doctor explained it.

Next time, just ask for a clear explanation. Try using ovulation tests to find your ovulation. Maybe you ovulate quite late due to the number of eggs?

I have too many eggs on both sides. One side has 15, the other 14, and I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS. I’m now taking Clomid to induce ovulation and hopefully it will get fertilized.
