Hello moms.
I have a question.
On July 26 my husband and I had unprotected sex, and now I found out that I am in my fertile period from July 27 to August 1. We have 3 kids, the youngest is 1. Could I get pregnant from this one time? A 4th child is definitely desired, but preferably in 2 or 3 years. I know, I use protection, but well, nothing can be changed now. If it's already happened, we'd be happy too, and we'll just have to go with what we've got!

I've had a lot of stomach pain, nausea, and feel full quickly after eating in the last few days, and today I'm feeling sharp pain in the lower part of my stomach, on the left side.

You could definitely be pregnant now. When is your due date?

You're still in your fertile period. Even if you were pregnant, you wouldn't have any pregnancy symptoms yet... But it is possible that you are pregnant. I'd say take a test in a few weeks.

    Tomorrow is my ovulation day.
No, I know I can't have symptoms yet, hihi. The youngest is 1 now, but it could happen once, so that's enough.

I’m supposed to get my period on August 14th, and I still haven’t started the pill after giving birth to our son last year. Normally, they say it’s safe.

You already have 3 kids, so you know how it works, right?

They were conceived by having sex every other day during the fertile period. Now we've only done it once, one day before the start of the fertile period, and I was wondering if you can get pregnant then too, because we had sex when it wasn't fertile, and it happened to stick because we'd rather wait a bit, but if it's a one-time thing, we're over the moon and we'll have to see how we handle it since I'm pregnant.

Does sperm live? If it's healthy, it can last about 5 days. Of course, you can get pregnant then.

    (Sorry, I think it's a bit silly)

read a lot of different things about how long it lasts but I really think the chance is heeeeel small we'll see

You know, it’s never exactly clear when your egg will be released; sperm needs to be inside before ovulation. Seems like good timing to me. I think the chances are pretty high if the fertile period starts around the 27th.

nope, indeed I don't know when my ovulation happened. I thought I wasn't in my fertile phase for a long time until I found out that it was the next day until today.
    thanks for your reply

'I think it's kind of stupid,' 'You know how it works.'

I think her question was really 'Can I be pregnant?' and not 'What do you think of my question?'. If you're going to reply, you could just give an answer instead of acting like a know-it-all?

And if you really feel it's so important to lecture someone, then do it under your username instead of anonymously.

Hi Niesje! It's nice to have a big family and exciting for you. Sperm can survive up to five days, so it could definitely be the one. How do you know that you've got your ovulation now?

    Hello Mila.
I have an app that tells me when I'm fertile and when I'm not. I used that app when I was trying to get pregnant with my youngest, and with the help of the app, it was a hit right away. I thought I wasn't in my fertile period yet, but it turned out otherwise. I'm supposed to get my period on August 14th.

Thank you for your lovely message.

    Tomorrow is my due date!

Even though it's not very convenient to have another little one with the financial strain of renovating three rooms and buying stuff now that one is coming, it's still super exciting. I did a few online tests and the chance was 60%.

    I personally don't think so, but there's still a big doubt! I haven't bought a test yet.
