No energy for anything

Hi everyone,
It seems like I'm the only one who feels absolutely exhausted during my pregnancy (8 weeks). I have to force myself to get out of bed, I lie in bed all day, I only eat because I have to, and I can't enjoy anything. I don't see any spark of hope or light anywhere. I have a 3-year-old toddler, which makes me force myself to do things, but I end up on the couch way more than I want to. I've now called in sick at work for a day because I just can't see how I'm going to get through a whole day. Who relates to this and has tips?

I don't relate to it that much, but I do recognize the sluggishness and the extreme fatigue. For me, it works best to just go outside with the little one. Mine is just turning 1 now, and I find being indoors pretty heavy too, but when I go outside, I get more energy. Hope Woe knows helps you too!

I totally get it. When I sit on the couch, I have to make an effort not to fall asleep. I need to keep busy, but I get tired so quickly... My little one, who's over 1.5 years old, keeps me going. I always look forward to our afternoon nap. I find doing the housework especially tough. But I think it's largely about your mindset. It's not that I have no interest in anything anymore.
At work, I have less trouble with it because my job is less busy, so I don't have time to dwell on it. At the end of such a day, I often get a headache and go to bed very early.

Oh, me too! Tomorrow I'll be 5 weeks along and had to push through at work last week! After working for five hours, I fell asleep in the chair for two hours. Not exactly fun, and my colleagues noticed too...
Thankfully, today things were a bit better.
