Hi hi

I read everywhere on the internet that fish is good during pregnancy. Does it have to be fresh fish from the fishmonger? Or is frozen fish (like fish sticks, lekkerbekjes, etc.) also good during pregnancy? I can't stand the smell of fresh fish; I spontaneously gag. I find it easier to swallow frozen fish.

I'd really like to know

You don't have to eat it if it makes you want to throw up, okay? The best thing is to eat good and healthy food.

You can check here what you can and can't eat during pregnancy. But you really don't have to eat fish if you just don't feel like it.

But if frozen fish is also 'good enough', I'm more than happy to go for it for my baby. That's why I'm asking.

Thanks for the links. They're really handy!

If you want to eat frozen fish, then do that... During my pregnancy, I didn't eat anything consciously, only avoided what I wasn't supposed to eat... so yeah, just find out yourself... and if necessary, ask your GP. They really know about this...

Fatty fish is super healthy and good for baby's brain development. Like salmon, mackerel, and eel. Frozen is fine too. Fish fingers and fish sticks are white fish. Also good, but less so.

You can also take Visoli capsules.
Does the baby get it too?
