Menopur and IUI

Hi ladies, I'm fairly new to the forum, but I've been trying to conceive our first baby for over a year and a half. After a year, we finally got checked out and it turned out I have some issues that make it hard to get pregnant. After several tests, we're now starting with IUI. I've been giving myself hormone injections for a week now. Are any of you doing this too, and what are your experiences? I feel completely different because of the hormones. I have my first ultrasound on Tuesday to see how my eggs are developing (they're on the smaller side, so to speak). I'm so anxious about everything, but I feel quite lonely in this process. My husband is super sweet and helpful, but he can never fully understand, of course.

I don't have any experience with it, but if you look at the bottom of the page, you'll probably see the cozy mmm group part 6. There are a lot of ladies there who have experience with it and might be able to give you an answer.

Thanks so much, Anne, I'll take a look there.

I totally get what you're saying. I used hormones for IVF too, but I still felt pretty alone in the process. My partner was super sweet, but he was still on the sidelines. I kept thinking about the injections, had the worst mood swings, and had constant headaches for weeks. You can try to imagine it, but they can't really feel it.
Wishing you all the best and lots of strength!
