Ovulation right after period, who else?

Hi ladies,

I was wondering if there are any other ladies who ovulate on the same day or a few days after their period?
I've been trying to find some info online about this but can't find anything.
We (yes, we're back together) found out through an ultrasound.
And the doctor said that once the bleeding stops a bit, we should go for it again right away due to my age.

    Short cycle
You have a short cycle of twenty-one days. Ovulation occurs around the seventh day of the cycle. This is often just a few days after your period. If you have sex during your period, you can get pregnant. The sperm can potentially survive until ovulation and then fertilize the egg.

    Found it anyway.
    Seemingly have a short cycle.....?

Baby, I’ve been following your story for a while now.
It’s so good to read that you’re back together! And it’s nice to hear that you’re going for it again.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with what you wrote above, but I just wanted to let you know that I’m glad you’re back.

    Hey baby,

I don't have experience with a short cycle (it was very long before).
But I do want to ask you a question; a while ago you wrote that you thought 45 was really too old to become a mother anymore and that you were now really (again) going to stop. I genuinely wondered where this turnaround came from. You seemed so sure of yourself.

Still that deeply cherished wish of ours.

I think it's pretty rare to ovulate right after your period. There's a chance the egg isn't fully mature when it's released. Maybe that explains why you often get faint positive tests but then something goes wrong.

The midwife (I've told this story before) saw Clautjuh during the bleeding that there were follicles of 18 mm. I still have pictures of it on my profile. That same month I got pregnant again and also have a picture on my profile, and there was a little embryo but unfortunately it was an early miscarriage again.
So I belong to the quite rare ones I think?
Besides, I don't know how it is with the egg not being fully grown when it ruptures, I'll first go to the midwife and then pay a visit to the GP.
    See what they say.

Yeah, that's what I mean too, that you'll be in the rare category . I didn't mean to imply it's not true. Hope you get some answers.

    Thank you, Clautjuh.
