Saar, you describe it so beautifully, that's exactly how I feel too, yes!
I just called, had to take 2 days off and will be in touch again in 2 hours. I've had a nice shower and am now going to sleep. Hopefully it'll get better soon.. Haha, I only called when I was already 38 weeks pregnant
San, the test is still positive for me. Indeed, you can quickly find out if you're pregnant and then use pregnancy tests two weeks later!

Ah good to hear that, Deb! Hopefully your regular cycle comes back now..
Things are going okay here, yesterday was a good day and with pain relief I didn't have any issues, today the back pain is coming through despite the pain relief. Flow is a bit more. Hopefully I'll hear more on Wednesday and be over it soon.
The fever stayed at 24 hours and sometimes I still feel a bit off, but I suspect it's probably just a cold.
    I'm taking it easy..

Yes! I lost it this morning. It was really big so I really hope it's complete! There were some painful contractions and then it was over. Exactly like your descriptions. I'm still bleeding quite a lot though, so I hope that'll decrease.
Thanks for your support during those nerve-wracking days!

Hi Heart, what a relief! It's normal to still have some discharge, your body needs to heal up inside. But keep an eye on it, if you keep having too much discharge and it becomes watery, give your doctor a call! They'll see during your check-up if everything is clear, luckily you don't have to wait too long. Hope you recover quickly and can look forward to your little miracle soon!

"Great" that it worked out like this after all! Hopefully everything is clean at the check-up on Wednesday. For me, it was also a big mess, the membranes were clearly visible just like after giving birth but on a smaller scale. After that, everything was clean for me too, my midwife said that it's a good sign if it comes out in one piece. Strength to your heart (l)

Unfortunately, it became clear during the ultrasound today that the heartbeat has stopped.

Heart so glad it finally worked out. Wednesday's ultrasound to confirm, right? Strength, but now you can finally move forward

That's so lovely, sweetheart, that it happened naturally after all! Did you have any checks already, or was that next week? Anyway, you can wrap it up now!
  9. kirstnn #69

Wow, what a girl! How far along were you? Wishing you lots of strength and take all the time you need.

I had a check-up on Wednesday, I'm clean! I'm really spotting very little now, so I expect it to stop soon. Essiegio, have you already gone for a curettage?
  11. Essiegio #71

I was 7 weeks pregnant with Kristin

On Monday I have to go for a D&C and have my tubes tied at the same time, honey

I'm so glad it happened naturally, sweetheart.
With my miscarriage, I didn't really think much about it. I was only 5.5 weeks when I started bleeding. I had a lot of lower back pain and a lot of bleeding, and by the second day, the little baby was gone. I never really went for a check-up afterward, and after two weeks, I ovulated again, and two weeks later, I got my period.
I just wanted to say that I was disappointed in myself as a woman. I couldn't understand why my body couldn't keep the baby.
Two months later, I was luckily pregnant again. Hopefully, everything goes well now, though the fear is still there...
    Wishing everyone lots of strength!!

Oh Essiegio, a sterilization? Are you not going to try again?
Happy girl, I completely understand you. I was also extremely disappointed in my body, especially after the second miscarriage.
Still, it's important to always get checked after a miscarriage. Because even if only a tiny piece remains, it can have unpleasant consequences when trying to get pregnant again.

    Hi besje
No more attempts for me. I have 2 sons. The baby I was pregnant with was totally unplanned and the pill had failed. I actually didn't want any more kids, but it would have been welcome if things had gone well. Unfortunately, this baby wasn't meant to come, and I already had sterilization scheduled, so I just went ahead with it.
  15. Besje #75

Oh ok, I thought maybe you didn't have kids yet and couldn't anymore for medical reasons. Glad your wish for children has already been fulfilled. Even though it wasn't planned, a miscarriage is still pretty heavy.
