    Hi,
I’ve also known for 4 days that I’m pregnant. I should be in week 5 now. I can’t see the gynecologist until February 6th, which feels way too long for me.
This is my first pregnancy, and besides me, my partner (and you guys now), no one else knows yet.
Since yesterday I’ve been having regular stomach pain, and just now I felt a very sharp, stabbing pain in the lower left side of my belly. I’ve read here that this is normal, but it still worries me a lot...
My grandmother (91 years old), with whom I had a close bond, passed away 3 days ago. So, the day after I found out I was pregnant. I couldn’t tell her anymore, even though I know she fought so hard because she wanted to experience the moment I would be pregnant. It’s tearing me apart inside, and I can only talk about it with my partner, but he doesn’t seem to understand.
Since the day before yesterday (the 2nd day I knew I was pregnant), I’ve been crying constantly and I’m an emotional mess. I haven’t fully processed the fact that I’m pregnant yet, and now I have to process the loss too.
So I feel really down, and my partner thinks I’m reacting abnormally since I’ve been wanting to talk to him every night for the 3rd night in a row, which ends up with me crying because he doesn’t understand me and hurts me.
I know (or hope) he means well, but I don’t know what to think anymore. Tonight I told him (like yesterday) that I was really worried because I hadn’t taken folic acid before, and because I’ve known for so many days and am so deeply sad and scared about the consequences for the pregnancy.
He seems quite calm about everything and assumes that folic acid is a waste of money and that everything will work out fine. The conversation ended with him wanting to sleep and telling me to stop and not keep repeating my worries, and I went crying to the couch (where I’ve been awake for 5 hours now). He didn’t even come after me.
I’ve been looking up some info since day 1 since I got a bit panicked when I found out I was pregnant, as it’s my first pregnancy. He, on the other hand, doesn’t inform himself about anything, doesn’t ask questions, and acts like everything is fine. When I wanted to talk to him about my worries yesterday evening, his reaction was: “Are you going to start again?”
I feel so alone in my pregnancy and in my grief for my grandmother. I don’t know if it’s the hormones or not, but since we found out I’m pregnant, I’ve been extremely anxious and I have the impression that my boyfriend has changed. I feel like a burden to him, while I’m the one who always organizes everything, keeps track of his schedule, reminds him of things on time, does the housework, and always cooks; he rarely takes the lead.
The only thing I expect now is that he supports and reassures me a bit regarding the pregnancy, but every time I share my worries with him, he brushes me off saying everything will be fine. Then I think: probably yes, because you leave everything to me!
I’m happy to be pregnant, but now I have such big doubts about my relationship + grief for my grandmother + worries about those sharp stabbing pains.
I feel like I’m the only person in the world who is so unhappy and sad while pregnant and feels so misunderstood and lonely.
I don’t know what to do with my feelings, questions, and worries, and I don’t want to announce my pregnancy until I’m past the three-month mark.
    Does anyone relate to this?

Hey everyone, I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant and have been having sharp abdominal pain for a few days. Unfortunately, because I had a miscarriage last time, it's hard for me to stay positive, and I'm constantly worried that something might go wrong. I hope you can reassure me a bit...

    Thanks everyone

    Hi,
I found out last Wednesday that I'm pregnant (so happy!) but now I've been having stabbing pains in my belly for a few days, and sometimes it feels like I'm about to get my period. These sudden attacks really scare me because this is my first baby,
    and of course I'm worried.

    Love, Joyce

Hey, I'm 4 weeks and 4 days now, but I sometimes have some stomach pain—not much, just an annoying feeling. Could something be wrong??

    Hello everyone,
I'm exactly 5 weeks pregnant today.
I often have lower back pain, especially after standing for a while, and sometimes I get a sharp pain that comes and goes. Is that normal?

Hi, can I join too? I'm 4 weeks and 6 days, almost 5 weeks, but my stomach has a lot of stabbing pains in my side in the mornings. This morning I had diarrhea twice, but later in the day I felt much better again.

    Hello ladies,

I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant, even though I still had 5 days left before my period was due.
But yesterday I lost 3-4 drops of blood and today only a very small amount.
I do have menstrual cramp pain though.
It feels like I'm going to get my period any moment now.
What could it be? I'm really worried. Who else has had this and ended up okay?

I went to the GP yesterday, had a lot of gas from my intestines. A lot of upper abdominal cramps, I'm so bloated. I got pregnant via IUI and was stimulated with one small egg and one big egg. Do I still have a chance for twins??????

    Hi,
    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    Quick question,
Had unprotected sex last Thursday. Ovulation was 2 days later.
    Stopped the pill in September.
Since Saturday, I've had a bloated feeling and cramps in my belly.
I've never been pregnant before, so I don't know what I should or can feel..
Last night, really intense gurgling in my intestines. Since today, lots of mucus discharge..
I hope someone can tell me what this could mean or if anyone has experience with this?

    Hi there,
I'm 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Since last night I've been having cramps that kept getting worse. Even before going to bed, I had quite a bit of discomfort. Today it started again in the morning, and I even had to leave work early. Now that I'm home, it's mostly gone away. Luckily, no bleeding.
Hopefully, these symptoms won't last long. Wishing everyone a happy pregnancy!

Hey hey ladies, first of all, congratulations to everyone!

I'm about 5 weeks pregnant today. This is my 2nd pregnancy; unfortunately, the first one ended in a miscarriage. I got pregnant right after my miscarriage, so without a period in between.
Since yesterday, I've been having a lot of lower back pain. And yesterday I had a little bit of period-like pain, but that went away quickly. Now I still have the lower back pain.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm going to the toilet all the time now, and that's pretty annoying because you're never sure what's normal. My appointment is on May 2nd.

    Greetings xx

    Hi,
I'm now 5 weeks pregnant and experiencing a lot of abdominal pain, dull aches, and sometimes even a feeling similar to menstrual cramps. My lower back is also hurting a bit. According to the midwife, this is due to my uterus stretching, but I'm still quite worried. I had my first ultrasound on Friday because of the pain, and they could already see a nice gestational sac with a fetus, and my hCG hormone levels had nearly doubled in two days. They say everything is fine, but I'm still uneasy. This is my third pregnancy; the first was 10 years ago, and I don't remember having this much discomfort back then. My second pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5 months, so now I'm super anxious????

    Hi Hayastan.
I also got pregnant through IVF. At week 6, I had bleeding, once quite a lot on the toilet paper, and a lot of abdominal and back pain.
Now I'm 32 weeks pregnant. I hope I can reassure you a bit. If you're worried, just call your GP. That's what I did too. Greetings.

    Hi everyone,
I'm exactly 5 weeks pregnant now, after having a miscarriage last month. I'm super aware of every little ache in my body, and I'm also feeling these cramps. It's like a band around my lower back and lower belly. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like I have digestive issues.
Meanwhile, I'm constantly going to the bathroom to check if I'm bleeding..
Is this kind of cramping a sensation that could mean more than one thing? It keeps me so worried.
    Take care!

I just found out I'm pregnant. Yesterday I went to urgent care because I was feeling a bit worried. I have period-like pain and lower back pain. On the ultrasound, they saw that the gestational sac is still empty. Has anyone else experienced this before?

    Hi ladies,

I'm so glad about this topic. I found out today that I'm 5 weeks pregnant and have had cramps in my belly for the past 3 days. It did worry me, but luckily I read that it's round ligament pain.

Isn't that just your uterus growing? Very normal then! But if you're in doubt, always call your midwife!

    Hi,
I’m also someone who’s quite stressed. My cycle started on Dec 18th, and some people say you should count that day, while others say not to. If I do count it, I’m almost 6 weeks now. This morning I had some light bleeding when wiping after peeing, so I took a test (since I was overdue) and within a minute there were two thick pink lines. Unfortunately, I felt very flu-like yesterday and today I’ve had a bit of a dull stomach ache, not really cramps. Should I be worried too? We’re currently on vacation (in Mexico until Saturday), so eating healthily isn’t always easy at a resort, and it’s not easy to call right now either. Does this immediately indicate a miscarriage?

    Greetings, Mariëtte

I still think it's just your uterus growing
