Try to enjoy it and don't search too much online because that's where you'll mostly find bad experiences.
Well Linda, your pregnancy is almost over then... Exciting. -

Hi everyone! According to the calculation, I'm now 4 and a half weeks pregnant. My first ultrasound is on March 14th, and it feels like it's taking way too long!! Who else had an ultrasound done before 10 weeks?

I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks with the OB-GYN. It was just an external scan and everything looked good, baby's heart was beating well. -

I found out on Saturday that I'm pregnant. Now 5 1/2 weeks. And here too, constant cramps and period-like feelings.
It makes me really insecure... glad to read that I'm not the only one... -

Hi ladies, I don't feel well. I'm 6 weeks pregnant, but I'm really scared because I have such bad cramps in my upper abdomen. Can someone reassure me? I have an appointment with the midwife on April 12th. -

Hi! I'm wondering if I have quite a bit of lower abdominal pain and gurgling intestines. I'm exactly 5 weeks pregnant! Luckily no bleeding, but still a bit scared. I have to wait until April 29th for the first ultrasound. Anyone who can reassure me a bit? Greetings! -

Hi everyone,
Is anyone still on this forum? I just read through everything, but I see it's already a few months old :/
I'm also in my 5th week, but I'm really scared. I noticed a light pink bleed when I went to the toilet today.. I had sex with my partner yesterday, but is it normal to have bleeding 24 hours later?! And pink also indicates "fresh" blood...
And since late afternoon I've had period-like pain in my lower abdomen, exactly like the other women's posts...
Now I'm seriously worried if this is a threatened miscarriage, or if the blood is from sex and the pain is normal due to the uterus growing...

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and just did a little browsing.
I'm pregnant for the 2nd time... Unfortunately, the first one ended in a miscarriage at 10 weeks.
Got a positive test a few days ago.
Happy on one hand, worried on the other...
I have Graves' disease... (an autoimmune disease that speeds up my thyroid function) which means a higher risk of miscarriage.
I've had period-like stomach cramps for over a week. I'm glad to read that this is common in the beginning. But it doesn't feel the same as last time, which makes me feel unsure again.
Somewhere inside, I'm trying to prepare myself for the possibility of another miscarriage. But I'd feel it's such a pity if it turns out fine after all. I didn't get to enjoy that last time... It would be such a shame... No idea what I'm trying to say with this little post. But a reply would be nice... Love -

Hi
@Dominique
I’m 5 weeks pregnant on Sunday with my 2nd baby and I’m also having period-like cramps. I’ve searched the web and saw that you can indeed have bleeding after intercourse. As long as it’s not bright red and doesn’t seem excessive, I think it’s a false alarm.
@jootje
I have hypothyroidism (slow thyroid), and if you’re under the care of a good endocrinologist or internist, it should work out fine! Before I got pregnant with this condition... pfff... now, with the right values, it finally worked after 3 years, thanks to my endocrinologist whom I’ve been seeing for a month and a half!
Believe, hope, and love. Letting nature take its course are my 'mantras' to banish any fear of a possible miscarriage.
Good luck, ladies! -

Hi Cin,
Unfortunately, it turned out to be a miscarriage after all, the same week
The good news is that I'm pregnant again!
Now 7 weeks!! Exciting

I had belly pain in both pregnancies at the beginning. Menstrual-like cramps, so bad that I’d get warm from it sometimes. It lasted about 3 weeks and started at 5 weeks. One is now 2 years old and the other is 3 months old. Cramps are normal; your intestines need to make room for your uterus.
Hope this puts your mind at ease a bit. -

Hi! I'm new here. I'm 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant today. I'm really worried. At first my breasts hurt a lot, but that's been a bit less for the past two days. I'm also having issues with my bowels. It doesn't hurt too much, but it's still unpleasant. My stool has also become softer, and sometimes I need to go to the toilet twice a day. My first ultrasound is on September 13. Are there other moms with similar problems? Hopefully someone can reassure me a bit. -

Hi girls,
I never thought I'd post something on a forum... ;-)
Today my GP told me I'm pregnant. I should be 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I've been having abdominal pain, lower back pain, and light pink bleeding. My urine tests are negative, but according to the blood test, I'm pregnant. I'm going for another blood test on Thursday to see if my hcg has doubled; it's currently 176. I'm so excited!! Reading about it, it seems my symptoms are 'normal' and I just need to be patient and trust that everything will be okay, but still... I really hope my hcg doubles on Thursday!
Love! -

Hi Lynn,
Your story sounds familiar! I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and have so much pain in my intestines and nausea! But with you, it was over quickly?
I have irritable bowel syndrome myself, so maybe that's why it's so intense now?
Greetings, Danielle -

Good morning!
I'm reading some stories a bit.
I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant and will have my first ultrasound next week. It's an internal one.
Has anyone had an internal ultrasound? If so, how did it feel? -

It's so nice to read all your stories! I'm now 5 weeks pregnant with our first baby, it's all so exciting. I really have no idea what you can feel and what's normal. I also have mild cramps in my lower abdomen. You've reassured me again
