hey everyone
I'm probably 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant now, based on my last period.
This is also my first time, yes 10 years ago my ex ended in a miscarriage and I had it terminated then.
And now I also got light stomach pain right after the test told me I was pregnant.
Also that crampy feeling in my lower abdomen, not really painful but sore and very light in the lower back,
let's just hope that the uterus is growing and that's what gives that feeling,
I'm going to the doctor next week to check and maybe have an internal ultrasound to see how far along I really am..

I’ve got that too. I’m 5 weeks pregnant and having a lot of stomach cramps. I called the midwife, who said this is a good sign as long as you don’t have any bleeding. Your uterus is growing, and you feel that. Sometimes your intestines are also upset and gurgly, which causes stomach pain. Nothing to worry about, so... -

Hi
I'm 5 weeks pregnant now and my belly is rumbling and I have a kind of cramp feeling. I don't see the midwife until Dec 9th and I'm still really nauseous.
But it does worry me.
Does anyone know how and what?
I'm capable of doing a pregnancy test every day.

Hi Dani..
I've actually given birth by now and have a 5-month-old daughter. I started the topic because I was really worried too!! I had such bad stomach pain that I ended up going to the ER myself. It turned out to be my intestines, which were extremely sensitive due to the pregnancy. Keeping warm and eating light, easily digestible food helped me. It went away! I did have ultrasounds at 6, 7, and 8 weeks to help ease my worries. Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy!
Love, Lynn -

It's so nice that forums like this exist. I only found out I'm pregnant a little over a week ago, so I should be around week 5 now. I've had a dull abdominal ache all day—sometimes it feels like typical period pain, other times it's more like a 'ligament pain'. It makes me feel unsure, but after reading your posts, it's somewhat reassuring to know this is pretty normal. Thanks for your openness! -

Hi everyone,
I'm pregnant for the second time now.
I'm 6 weeks along and currently lying in bed with stomach cramps. A few hours ago I had a little bit of brown discharge.
During my first pregnancy I didn't have any stomach cramps, but that was 9 years ago. -

Hi everyone,
I'm now in my fifth week of pregnancy and still have (upper) abdominal pain.
This is my second pregnancy (the first had to be stopped after one month due to an ectopic pregnancy) and I'm afraid it might go wrong again this time. After all those years of searching and procedures.
I've already had two blood tests done and everything is fine, and my first ultrasound is on January 21st.
What should I do? I'm a single mom and it's keeping me up at night?!...

Hey
Congrats on your pregnancy from ????
I think we should stay positive.
I keep thinking about it, especially in the evenings.
I'm getting my first ultrasound on Jan 23.
Everything will be fine. And if not, there's a reason for that too. -

Congratulations to everyone.
Here's a mom-to-be. Of her second little girl. Totally get it. That it's all exciting, that stays true even for a second child.
With everything you feel, you think, hopefully everything will be okay, what could be wrong?
The pain you describe does seem like uterine stretching, or else round ligament pain.
As long as it's not severe stabbing pains combined with bleeding, I wouldn't worry too much.
If you really don't feel confident, you can always call your midwife. It's no problem at all, that's what they're there for.
And they'll do everything they can to help you feel better. -

Hi everyone,
I'm 6 weeks pregnant today and I'm just experiencing fatigue, a weird feeling in my belly, and larger breasts. Since yesterday I've had a little bit of bleeding, but really just a drop on the toilet paper. Other than that, I'm feeling pretty good! By the way, I'm expecting my first baby! -

Hi ladies,
if all goes well, I'll be 6 weeks pregnant tomorrow or the day after.
@Barbie, I do have some lower abdominal and back pain.
And sometimes feel a bit nauseous (not too much).
I haven't had any bleeding at all.
As long as you don't get bright red bleeding, everything should be fine. From what I've read on Brabbels and Google, it's almost certainly okay with your girl
I'm also expecting my first baby.
My official first ultrasound is on March 17th, but I'm going to call tomorrow and ask if they can bring it forward a bit

Well ladies, so relatable. I'm just over 5 weeks now and I'm also having a lot of stomach pain. It was worrying me quite a bit, but reading your stories has put me a bit more at ease. I don't have any bleeding, so hopefully everything's fine. And I do hope this gets less intense, because it's really unbearable... -

Hi there,
I have a question, is it normal that I don't have much or almost no stomach pain and cold now, about 5 weeks pregnant??? Greetings -

Hi everyone, how are things? I'm now 6 weeks pregnant and have some mild stomach cramps, sometimes during the day, sometimes in the middle of the night. This is my second pregnancy, but it's still nerve-wracking because I didn't have a good experience with the first one. It was more of a miscarriage than anything else for three months. I'm really anxious about this second one... greetings then. -

Hey ladies.
My partner and I stopped using contraception back in June.
We've had 2 normal periods since then.
And now we're waiting for the 3rd... I'm having a lot of trouble with my tummy and getting some really weird stabbing pains on the lower left side. There's quite a bit of rumbling around my intestines too.
I just don't dare take a test yet.
Only 2 more days to wait.
Do you recognize these symptoms? -

Well, after your replies I feel a bit reassured. I'm now almost 7 weeks pregnant. I'll have an ultrasound next time because on Saturday I had some cramps, and the midwife said I could come in a week earlier. I'm not feeling nauseous, thankfully, but I do have some abdominal cramps, as I've read more about here. They come on suddenly, making me rush to the toilet to check if I haven't had any bleeding. I keep worrying somehow that the ultrasound won't go well. So, hoping for good news on Thursday.
Kind regards, Danielle -

Glad to hear that more people have a nagging feeling (like a blister is coming) on the left side of the belly.
I'm worried about that too.
I hear scary stories that this nagging pain on one side can sometimes mean you have a BBZ, but luckily I see many more stories that it's recognizable :-)
So let's just assume the positive and hope that in 4 weeks I'll get to see a nice ultrasound with a beating heart

I'm 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. The only thing I've got is occasional stomach pain. I haven't been nauseous or dizzy at all. Any other people who have no symptoms?
