Stretchy mucus

Hi everyone!
I'm new here. We've been trying for a first baby for 13 months now, unfortunately without success.
Now I have a few questions about stretchy mucus discharge. I can identify it very clearly, but I only have it for 1 day each month. The following days, there is a creamy, watery but not transparent mucus discharge.
I'm wondering if I'm only truly fertile on the day of the stretchy mucus, or also on the days after? The stretchy mucus usually appears around day 10 or 11. I usually have a cycle of 29 or 30 days.
Has anyone had the same experience with this?

How strange that you only have stretchy discharge then. I had stretchy discharge from about 5 days before my ovulation until the day of ovulation! But every body is different.. -

I don't always have it so intense either. Have you tried ovulation tests yet?
