Lots of spotting and wanting kids

Hi everyone,
I stopped the pill over a year ago and have been experiencing a lot of irregular bleeding. It varies from day to day. Sometimes I only have 4 days a month without any bleeding. It's really frustrating when you're trying to get pregnant It's also making me feel very uncertain..
The gynecologist checked, and I have an ectropion. It was treated with freezing, but unfortunately, it didn't help. I just went back, and she says there's not much more she can do for me. It shouldn't prevent pregnancy. I feel really bad about it.. Every day is a disappointment when I experience bleeding again.
Are there others who have or have had this?? I'd really like to start the pill again, but unfortunately, that's not an option due to our desire for a child. But after a year, I'm starting to get really fed up with it...

    Hi Baby0.01
Can you go somewhere for a second opinion?
Especially if it's bothering you so much. That can't be good for your peace of mind when trying to get pregnant.
    Lots of strength

Mammie-L: I'm indeed really thinking about that..
I was just so curious if there are more people who have this and what they ultimately did about it.

I'm now on day 17 of bleeding.. this month it's only been gone for 4 days.
I'm going to keep an eye on it for another month, otherwise I think I'll ask my GP for a second opinion..

I’ve had some bleeding myself now. Yesterday. Bright red blood. Not even a panty liner full, but enough to give you quite a scare.
The doctor took a blood sample to check my levels. So just waiting now.
But the fact that I’m still feeling nauseous and have tender breasts was a good sign.
Wishing you lots of strength. I hope you’ll know soon.

    Hi Baby0.01
Here we are a couple of weeks later.
My values were good. For now, still a lot of discomfort. I'm really looking forward to the first ultrasound in a few weeks.
Have you got any updates in the meantime?
Hope everything is okay with you.

Unfortunately, the situation hasn't changed.. I'm now in a new cycle and I've had bleeding again since my ovulation (for a week now). I'm a bit skeptical about it..
In May, I might be able to do an HSG.
It's nice to hear that everything is going well for you. I hope you'll get your ultrasound soon with a nice beating heart!
