1st trimester
uncertainty!

Hey ladies,
2.5 weeks ago I took a pregnancy test because I had quite a few symptoms, and it turned out I was pregnant. We were really shocked at first, but after letting it sink in, we were overjoyed!
Last week I suddenly got abdominal pain and bleeding, so I had an emergency ultrasound at the hospital. They thought I was around 7-8 weeks pregnant. On the ultrasound, unfortunately, I saw an empty gestational sac. It felt like the ground was slipping from under my feet. The midwife said I could wait and see if it came out that week, or I could make an appointment starting today for a D&C. But I didn’t trust it, so I got another ultrasound today, and what do you think? Suddenly, there was something very clear visible!!! According to the measurements, I’m now 6 weeks pregnant, but there was still no heartbeat yet, so I’m having another ultrasound next Tuesday. I hope the heart will be beating then—I’ve regained a bit of hope.
Do you happen to have experience with this too? If so, I’d love to hear if it can still turn out okay and how it went for you. Thanks in advance, ladies.
