Hi everyone,
I'm Quirine, 28 years old, and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for quite a while now. I finally went to the GP to find out why it's not working. The doctor suggested doing a blood test first to check if there are any antibodies for chlamydia. Today I got the news that I tested positive for this and need to be examined by a gynecologist. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this?

    I don't have this myself.
But I do know that when you go to the hospital for tests on why you're not getting pregnant, they'll do this test.
So the fact that your GP is doing this now is already a step forward.
Because chlamydia can cause adhesions and sometimes even infertility. (Don't want to scare you though!)
It's good that you've had antibiotics.
What you could do is ask the gynecologist to put it on paper.
And the gynecologist will further investigate what the damage might be and what the treatment will be.

    Good luck with the gynecologist.
