Menstruation

Hi ladies,
I stopped the pill at the end of January, hoping to fulfill our wish for a child.
I keep a precise record on an app of when I started my period and when my fertile days were.
Now I have a question about my menstruation. Every month before my "real" period, I have 2 days where my discharge has a brown/red color. So I'm not really on my period until after those 2 days, then I'm really on my period. So far, it's been exactly the same every month. Now the question is whether I should count those 2 days as part of my period or not?

Does anyone else have this?
Regards, Michelle

    hi hi,

if you have the same AP as me, it says you have to start counting from the very first moment you lose blood!
How long would your period last with those 2 extra days?

I had this too while I was on the pill. They say it's old blood, and that's how it started, so I knew I had to be prepared for what was coming next hehe.

With those 2 days added, it would be 9 days. I use the Maya app. But I don't fully trust that app, so sometimes I calculate it online anyway.
    So you're saying I shouldn't count those 2 days?

I did count them in! I have a period calendar.

The first day of your period is the first day that the bleeding continues.
