Hi Mandy, my boyfriend and I started trying right away after I stopped the pill. So I can't really say much about coming off the pill, or maybe I can. I don't know yet if I'm pregnant or just coming off the pill. -

Hi, so yesterday I had a little bit of pink discharge.
Today and yesterday I’ve been feeling like my period is about to start.
And just now, after I went to the toilet, I wiped and had some white sticky mucus again. -

Hi everyone!
I’ve also stopped taking the pill 3 weeks ago and I’m experiencing some weird symptoms too. I’m probably around or near my ovulation right now and feeling all sorts of things in my body. Sometimes sharp pains on the left, then on the right. It feels like menstrual cramps, but that’s way too early. I guess I’m also overthinking things because I’m really focused on my cycle and trying to get pregnant haha. But I’m sure I’m not the only one. -

I felt everything in the first two months
After that, it got less intense. -

Hey Mandy, I took my last pill on March 28th.
I didn't finish my pill strip at that time. -

Hi!
It's nice to read your stories. My partner and I also have a big desire for kids. I had my copper IUD removed on April 6th.. so a slightly different situation. But I hope I'm allowed to chat along here! :-)
I got my period for the first time on April 18th. Assuming a normal cycle, my ovulation would be on May 4th.
Beforehand, we said we didn't want to think about it too much.. but deep down, I'm not thinking about anything else.. hihi. -
Raisa #28
So relatable, Bodine! Especially after ovulation, I get restless and am aware of every little change in my body

I had really bad withdrawal bleeding.
My cycle was also completely messed up.. now into my 3rd month it's calming down.. I had so many symptoms that it felt like I was giving up on being pregnant. At one point I really thought, yeah, I'm pregnant, I was even overdue so I took a test.. nothing, unfortunately, and then a week later I just got my period.
The pill is crap and it all had to come out, I realized that intensely. -

Got pregnant right after stopping the pill. I thought I was going through withdrawal. I kept getting hot flashes and had persistent lower abdominal pain for a few days, and by then I was already pregnant, but I had no idea. After a month without a natural period, I took a test, which turned out to be positive—totally unexpected! Super happy about it, so it definitely can happen without a washout period, but everyone’s different. Good luck waiting and who knows! -

Hi Bodine, I didn't think much about it at first either.
But now that we're really trying, I'm actually only focused on one thing.
Of course I do other things too, but I pay more attention to all the sensations in my body.
I search for lots of info online, etc.
It's nice that more people are talking about it here!
That way we can support each other.
How things are going for me now.
Sleeping is annoying when I lie on my stomach with sensitive breasts.
I felt quite nauseous this morning.
And that weird period-like feeling down in my lower belly again.
And while showering I noticed that there are suddenly little bumps on my nipples.
(Is that normal for breast changes or pregnancy? Or should I start worrying! -
Ysabel #32
Wendy32, exciting, huh? I just wanted to reply to the little bumps you have on your nipples. I got those very quickly after I knew I was pregnant, so who knows! I'm rooting for you.

hi wendy and mandy (and the rest of the forum hihi)
i'm 19 and i stopped the pill on march 3rd i got my period (still on the pill)
i had all sorts of ailments, (it was terrible)
i even went to the doctor in the meantime i got so insecure that my period was late and all the tests kept coming back negative.
eventually i got my period last saturday anyway. very happy.
unfortunately i had a cycle of 47 days. apparently my body was also detoxing from the pill.
now on to round 2 today is my last day of menstruation.
what i also find difficult is that i have no idea about my cycle, so i just assume 28 days.
i've now bought ovulation tests to see if i can figure out what kind of cycle i have with them,
then i have another question i like chatting with you all about all our ailments and symptoms and questions, now i've read the forum but if i come back tomorrow for example how can i find this forum again as quickly as possible is there a trick for that?
greetings Shewe -

Hey ladies, nice to read all your stories! And Wendy, exciting! I do believe that little bumps on your nipple are part of the symptoms of pregnancy... can't wait to hear! I think you had just stopped the pill recently, right? -

Hi Ysabel, I had already searched online because I was worried about those lumps, thinking, "What is this now?" But reading this, it seems harmless and many people here have them. Thanks for your reply. It's nice to read that it might also be related to pregnancy.
Hi Shewe, welcome. I have no idea how you can find this thread again. I always have a little bell icon in the top right with a number next to it when I have a reply to this open forum post. But that's because I opened this post.
Hi Mandy, yes, it really feels so exciting! But I can't really imagine being pregnant already in the first round. But I've been having weird symptoms lately. I also read online that all those symptoms I have when stopping the pill fit well too. I did stop the pill not too long ago, on March 28th, the last one I took, but I didn't finish my strip.
Pffff, it's all so exciting. I'm also 32 years old and ready for a baby. This waiting is really killing me!
But I understood from someone here that I can try a pregnancy test on April 29th. So I'm so curious! I hope I'm not testing too soon. Especially because I don't know my cycle and I'm afraid I might test too early. But I read that there are tests that can determine if you're pregnant earlier. Maybe I'll try those on April 29th. -

Hi Wendy, yes indeed, I just got your message. I found it.
Exciting, right? I also did a test when my period was so long overdue. I think you have the Predictor, which you can use to test 6 days before your expected period. And at Action, there's a cheaper version that can test 4 days before your expected period. -
skullie #37
The cheap ones from Kruidvat, testing the 2-for-5€ deal early too. I tested with them 5 days before my expected period and got a light positive. -

Hi ladies
I was startled last night because I went to the toilet (a bit of a gross thing to say) and there was brown blood in my panty liner. And when I wiped, I had that too. The rest of the evening, I kept noticing after peeing that there was a bit of that brown blood on the toilet paper.
This morning when I went to the toilet, my panty liner was completely clean. But while showering, when I rinsed myself down with water, suddenly a piece of mucus slid down. I quickly caught it and looked at it. It was brown mucus.
I'm so scared that I'm starting my period.

Well, I just went to the toilet again and I think my period has started.
This time I really had a lot of brown mucus when wiping.
I'm quite sad about it now.
Because I read everywhere on the internet that if you have implantation bleeding, it's only a little blood you lose. And I'm losing a lot of blood. I think it's going to round two for me.

That's such a bummer, Wendy.. hope it works out soon. Every time, another disappointment...
