Ovulation

Hi girls, I have a question!
I was supposed to ovulate last week. Couldn't have sex because I wasn't home, what do you think when did my ovulation happen?
Had sex on cycle day 12
On day 14 in the evening had very slight ovulation pain.
Day 15 had ovulation pain all day
Day 16 had ovulation pain until about 12:00 at night, around 10 o'clock could have sex
Day 17 enormous hellish pains during sex, pain in my lower abdomen as if it's hitting something.
I hope someone can tell me when I actually ovulated and if there's a small chance this month or is this a wasted month? Round 5
Love

We can't look inside your body to see if you ovulated or not, so it's impossible to say whether it was a wasted month or not. But we can give you tips for next month. Use ovulation tests or track your temperature to figure out when your ovulation is roughly. If you have sex before and around that time, the chance of pregnancy is high. Sperm can survive for about 3 days, and in some extreme cases even up to 7 days in the uterus. You do need good sperm though . Usually it's 3 days. That's why the advice is to have sex on days within the fertile window, so the man can produce fresh sperm and you'll have swimmers in the uterus when your egg is released, because your egg is only viable for 24 hours. During that time, the swimmers need to find it. But don't worry, they swim fast, so even on the day itself they'll be on time. And if they're too early, they just wait until they die.

Has anyone else gotten pregnant from having sex after ovulation?
