    I don't get it... now there's a darker line

I don't use the stick tests anymore, I find them way too unclear. So I use those Clearblue tests; they cost quite a bit, but at least you know for sure.
If I were you, I'd make an appointment with the midwife, especially since you've had a miscarriage before and you're feeling so unsure. How many weeks are you now?

I think the Clearblue is pretty expensive, haha. But it's definitely clear. Would be 4w4d now.
You have to go tomorrow, right? What time? Are you nervous?
  4. Ellis #64

I have to be there at 9:30 tomorrow. Since I haven't had any issues after the curettage, I assume everything is fine, so I'm not really tense or anything. I will ask if he can check whether any eggs are ripening again, though, because I'm curious about that.

Clear Blue is pricey, but then you know for sure after just one test. With the cheaper ones I’ve used (KV and Action), I always ended up using a whole bunch because I wasn’t sure if the result was too faint, so it wasn’t really much cheaper in the end

    Curious how it went, Ellis!
You're right, though. In the end, you're spending almost the same amount.
I took the Kruidvat test this morning (2 for 5) and it was immediately positive and dark... so it seems real.

The tests on your profile picture are really great! Congratulations!

Everything was fine with the gynecologist. My uterus is completely clean again. No new eggs are ripening yet, but the gynecologist said that would probably start sometime next week. In any case, we got the green light to go for it again!
  8. Dali80 #68

And that darkest one only came really late, huh...
Glad it was completely clean and that the doctor expects your egg to start ripening again next week.
Are you going for it right away too? Now that you've got the green light?
  9. Ellis #69

Yes, we're going for it again. Just because it happened quickly the first time doesn't mean it'll happen that fast now, so I don't want to wait too long. I'll start doing ovulation tests again in a few days, and then we'll just hope those eggs mature quickly
  10. Dali80 #70

I really do hope so for you! Hope you get a positive ovulation test soon.
  11. Ellis #71

    Hey Dali,
How are you doing now? Have you made an appointment with the midwife or gynecologist yet?
  12. Dali80 #72

Hi, yeah, I finally called! There's an ultrasound on January 31st, so I'll have to wait another 2 weeks. That would be a bit more than 8 weeks. And on February 10th, there's the intake. How are you doing?
  13. Ellis #73

How exciting! I'm not sure how things work in the Netherlands (I'm from Belgium), what is that intake for if you're already seeing the midwife at the end of January?

Everything is going well with me. I haven't had my period yet and the ovulation tests keep coming up negative, so there's nothing else I can do but wait. But my sister is very pregnant (due date is today) and I'm going to be the godmother, so I'm mostly focused on that right now, which strangely enough takes my mind off things.
  14. Ellis #74

Hey Dali, how are you doing? Hope you're not too bothered by any complaints! You're going to the gynecologist on Tuesday, right? So exciting!
  15. Dali80 #75

Hi Ellis, sorry I see I didn't reply to your last message! An intake is your first real chat with the midwife. Your partner is often there too, since they ask about your health and your partner's health. They also discuss wishes regarding the pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care.
I had an ultrasound yesterday and it looked good! The little heart was still beating, luckily . As for complaints, I only have fatigue and I'm a bit nauseous but can also eat all day hihi, a bit weird then.
How are you? Has your sister given birth yet? I'm curious!
  16. Ellis #76

Oh, a beating little heart, how lovely! I'm so happy for you!!
My sister gave birth to a beautiful baby boy at the beginning of last week, and I'm completely in love with him. I go over there often to give him a cuddle . It makes me dream about the moment I can bring a little miracle into the world

On Friday (27/01) I finally had a positive ovulation test, so my body is back in gear. Unfortunately, we only had sex on Friday and not afterwards because my husband was sick, so I don't think it's a hit again. Now we wait for my period and then we'll go for it again .
  17. Ellis #77

    Hey Dali,
    How are you doing?
  18. Dali80 #78

Hi Ellis, things are going well here. I'm 16 weeks now and had a good NIPT test. We're having a girl
Friday we have an ultrasound and I'm really nervous.

How are things with you? Any positive ovulation tests yet? Or even better, a positive pregnancy test hehe
    And how's your nephew doing?
  19. Ellis #79

I'm so happy for you that it's going well! A little girl, amazing?
With my nephew everything is going well, he's growing like a weed! Now we're busy preparing for the baby shower.

Unfortunately, I haven't had a positive test yet... I got my period in early February (1 week after ovulation) and haven't since. I had a positive ovulation test on 2/27 so I thought my period would be on 3/14 but no period in sight and a negative test. On 3/18 I suddenly had fertile mucus so I don't understand anything anymore.
I'll wait another week and if there's no period or positive test then, I'll go to the doctor. I suspect my body is still out of whack since the miscarriage in December or that I have a very long cycle...
