How exciting... It would be awesome if it hits the mark in the first round? ????

My sister got pregnant for the first time a few months ago, so I hope it's in the genes . If there are no signs of a period by Sunday, I might just test anyway . But I have a feeling it's nothing this month, so we'll just carry on calmly.

    And? Ellis? I'm really curious.

Tripple4, it's a shame it wasn't a hit this round again... May I ask how long you've been trying? And were you trying for a long time with the first 3 kids?
  4. Ellis #44

My period hasn't started yet. I took a test yesterday and it was as negative as it could possibly be. So it'll have to be for another round

Maybe your cycle is a bit longer after all?
  6. Ellis #46

I think it’s still due to the weaning since I only stopped in August. So I’m not worrying yet How are you doing now?
  7. Vivian #47

What contraception did you use then, Triple? A light pill?
  8. Vivian #48

Apart, right! Hopefully it'll be just as easy now!
  9. Vivian #49

Yeah, weird! Why didn't it work without help if I may ask?
  10. Vivian #50

Oh that's special, never heard of it. What do they do there and how did you get pregnant?
  11. Dali80 started this #51

    How are you doing?
  12. Ellis #52

Hey Dali, everything's good with me. I should normally be getting my period right now, and all signs point to that, so I'm pushing another round back .

How are you doing? Have you been able to process the loss a bit?
  13. Dali80 started this #53

Hi, it's going well! Everything is back to normal...
I also got my period today despite having quite a few symptoms... frustrating but oh well...
Do you have a regular cycle?
  14. Ellis #54

I used to have a regular cycle, but since I stopped the pill in August, my cycle has been a bit off, I think
My last cycle was 52 days long, and now I'm on day 30 (which was my cycle length before I started the pill). So with a bit of luck, it could still take another 2 weeks...

It's exciting here... I got my period on 14-11 and then again on 30-11 after 2 weeks...
Now I'm not feeling well, I'm nauseous... I don't have any pregnancy tests at home, only an ovulation test, and it was positive... Could it be?
  16. Ellis #56

Could it be that those 2 were a bleed because you ovulated? Have you tested again in the meantime?
Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago and am now waiting for my cycle to start again. How long did that take for you?
  17. Dali80 started this #57

Oh Elles, you can't be serious how sad. When was it? How far along were you? I usually got my period again after 30/31 days.
I took a test on Saturday and it was positive. Not a clear positive, which makes me feel insecure again Also had some bleeding this afternoon.
  18. Ellis #58

Oh! I wish you a cautious congratulations in advance! Have you already made an appointment with your GP or gynecologist?

On 27/11 I had a positive test in my hands, and I was already 6 weeks along. Because I had some bleeding, I had my GP do two blood tests to see if my hCG levels were rising nicely. Everything was fine (rose from 628 to 1592 over 2 days).

On December 9th I had my first ultrasound (7+4 weeks), but it showed that the baby had already stopped growing; it was so small it was barely visible. The miscarriage didn't start spontaneously, so I had a D&C on December 19th.

On Thursday I'm going back to the gynecologist for a check-up, and if everything's fine, we'll start trying again.

Oh my, that's so intense. Ellis, I'm so glad you're pregnant quickly, but then you have to go through this
First your values go up nicely, so you get hope... I really feel for you both. Unfortunately, I know how it feels.
I still haven't made an appointment with the midwife because I'm really unsure. Since today, no more sore breasts either, so the uncertainty is back again pffff.

    Unfortunately,
I took a test this morning and it was negative...
So it went wrong again so early????
