I really feel so awful.... This pregnancy came as a surprise but was so desired!! My husband had to get used to the idea but soon said we're going for it... But whether he wants to do it again now... I don't think so pffffff
  5. Ellis #25

Dalí, I'm thinking of you and hoping for good news from your ultrasound later...
  6. Vivian #26

Dear Dali, wish you all the best, I hope for a miracle for you both!

I'm so glad I can open up my heart here and receive your kind messages...
Unfortunately, the ultrasound wasn't good, and I did indeed lose the baby at work yesterday...
My uterus looked fine again, so they don't expect any heavy bleeding anymore, which is a relief. I'm also glad that everything is gone and nothing was left behind.

It's my dream that has shattered, so sometimes I burst into tears and feel so empty...

My husband was there with me and is also really shaken up...

Oh, that's so intense! So sad! Sending you strength with the loss, love.

    strength!
  10. Ellis #30

What sad news . Wishing you both lots of strength. I hope you can talk it over with your husband now. Big hug

Sending lots of strength, Dali80! I know how it feels. You hope so much and are so happy, and then there's that disappointment. Take your time to process this and think of yourself. And hopefully, your wish will come true soon!
  12. Natsje1982 #32

Oh girl, I had hoped so much for a miracle for you both.

It is indeed good that everything looked "clean" and you don't have to undergo a D&C as well. If your husband is so affected, the baby was wanted after all. So maybe he sees it differently now than before.

Wishing you both lots of strength to process this loss.
  13. Vivian #33

Oh my, that's so sad for both of you! Unfortunately, it's part of the journey sometimes. Hopefully, you'll have a new chance soon! You often hear that girls are more fertile after a miscarriage, so I'll be rooting for you and your husband!!

Your messages really do me good!

It would have been our fourth child, and I can't and won't complain... Some girls struggle to get pregnant with their first...

But the grief and emptiness are definitely there...
  15. Ellis #35

It really doesn’t matter if it’s your first or your tenth. The loss is there, and so is the grief. I hope you can find a place for it.

That's so sad for Dali80... that wasn't the news you wanted to hear I really think it's so awful for you guys... there aren't really good words for it. You need to process this together.

I do want to say that (unfortunately) it happens very often that a first positive pregnancy test ends up being a miscarriage. That's how it was for me too... I also lost my first baby early. The only comfort you can have is that something was wrong with your baby and that it's better this way. Nature didn't do this for no reason and spared you from having to make a very difficult choice yourself.

And something positive... you're probably very fertile now. Your body knows how to get pregnant... your body is practically already pregnant and all those hormones can cause you to get pregnant again next month. That's how it went for me and I sincerely wish the same for you! Strength, girl... try to give it a place. Your success will come very soon
  17. Anonymous Guest #37

Sorry, I only just read that it’s going to be your 4th baby... so you know how your body works and that your body can do it! Wishing you strength again, girl.
  18. Ellis #38

Dear Dalí, how are you doing?
  19. Dali80 started this #39

Hi lovely girls... I took a little step back because I was really overwhelmed. Luckily, the bleeding has stopped now and I'm starting to see things a bit more positively.
My husband and I have decided to give this a chance and maybe even go for a fourth. Not like with the third where we were so focused on it, but just... We'll see... I'm super happy that he didn't completely rule it out because during the pregnancy I realized I actually wanted it after all!
Tripple4, it's nice that you're going for a fourth, but so sad that it went wrong twice already! Really hoping for a thick positive line for you soon

And ellis, how are you doing?

By the way, hoping for everyone a positive test soon
  20. Ellis #40

    Hi Dali,
I totally understand that you've taken a step back for a bit. You can't just brush off a loss like that. I hope you'll get a positive test soon and finally get to hold that fourth baby in your arms.

I'm currently on the two-week wait (cd 26) but I think it's nothing this month. I'm also not sure if I even ovulated, so I'll just wait calmly.
I'm glad you reached out again!
