Hi!
In Jan/Feb my partner and I decided to try for a baby. Since then, my whole cycle has been all over the place. (I’ve been off the pill for a year and a half, with the first half year being irregular cycles, but now it’s always on time.) Since we decided to try, I was suddenly 10 days late and had 3 days of reddish-brown bleeding. Tests were negative. Now I’m 5 days early and got my period heavily. (I should mention that last month I wasn’t as focused on it after 3 days of reddish-brown bleeding due to vacation.)

I was wondering if there are other women who experience this and have tips or experiences to share?

    Hi chocobrownie,

That's so nice that you're trying to get pregnant! We're planning to start in December too. I stopped the pill 5 months ago and have only just gotten my period for the first time since stopping.

Since stopping, I've been trying to pay more attention to my diet and live a bit more relaxed. I understand that eating too much sugar, being overweight (I don't have that myself), and experiencing stress can make your cycle irregular and lower your chances of getting pregnant.

I've also had dark brown blood before. My mom always says it's "old blood," haha. I think that's usually true, but it could have other causes too, I guess.

Yesss, so relatable I didn't actually post the link and thought it was because of my unhealthy lifestyle, but what you're saying could also be true!
My last period was on Feb 5th, and at the end of Feb we decided to go for it (read: stop doing everything to prevent it and just let it happen spontaneously!). I'm alone now, so still no period..
I've been off the pill for 1.5 years, and before that I always had a cycle between 27 and 33 days, not exact, but no drama either. How was your cycle?
So no tips yet, but definitely some recognition!
