Haha no
I call my husband's "micro penis" or "little rosewater"
. Which is completely not true.
I personally think "Mossel" is quite wrong. -

That could very well be true.
Flower, what you're saying, but I really need to seize my chances.
My husband is very busy with the kids, the household, and his own work.
So I really have to grab as many opportunities as possible when he's up for it.
Yesterday he had a headache and went to bed earlier with the kids.
Fortunately, he woke up at 4 in the morning, and I managed to convince him to take advantage of our chance again
He says he's really doing it all for me.
But I do get tired from it myself.
I told him how sweet I thought it was that he goes to such lengths for me
Anyway, we've now used days 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15.
Hope that's enough.
Beertje, I'm not sure exactly when my ovulation is.
But some months are 26 days, others 28.
Never above or below that.
But indeed, we're drifting off topic.
That happens when things get cozy. -

Hi Vivian,
My husband's mother is from Italy and his father is from Syria.
So he's half Syrian, half Italian.
Greetings, Madelene

Hi ladies, I read your message, Madelene, about having intercourse on days 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15. But you can really do it best every other day starting from day 11 and then for a week. That's what my treating doctor told me, because doing it every day isn't good for your man's sperm cells. I just thought I'd mention that every other day is more than enough

My third baby definitely has an impact on our sex life, unfortunately. Since the pregnancy and birth, everything has changed. It's still a bit looser, I do exercises every day. My pelvic floor still feels very loose and weak. Plus, there are two other factors that have a big impact on our sex life. My husband works from home out of necessity. We have a small house and no big social life. We're together 24/7, 6 or 7 days a week. That has its own influence. I'm also on medication that lowers my libido. That's only been the case for the last 2-3 months. The wider feeling, of course, remains. We've made good use of the night feedings
.
I've given the oldest two some sex ed. The oldest finds it wonderfully interesting. She takes it very seriously and doesn't start laughing when the word sex comes up. She's 10 now and growing up. I get the impression she really likes knowing everything already. The middle one is a character in his own right
. Now that he knows how the flowers and the little shovels work, there's a bit less fun factor. I bought a nice, child-friendly book. It covers everything. Puberty, masturbation, contraception, periods, pubic hair, childbirth, and the internet. In a very fun, pointillist way. With ridiculous pictures and silly jokes. Ideal for growing kids. I think good sex ed is very important. -
Madelene #67
We're not giving any sex ed yet.
Vivian, you guys are older and can come with questions yourselves.
My youngest is 4 and the oldest is 6.
So it's not on the agenda yet.
My mom was very open with me about it.
She also wanted me to go on the pill when I was 15 because she said if you're going to have sex, you should be protected against pregnancy.
I felt uncomfortable about that.
But she was just very open about it.
She's also very modern.
If it's up to my husband, he'll never tell them.
He was raised very prudish; at home they never talked about it, not even with his sisters.
But he wants me to do it. He also doesn't like doing it because they're daughters.
I once told my oldest daughter:
"Daddy gave Mommy a kiss out of love, and then you guys came hi hi"
What do you mean that having kids will affect your sex life? Sorry, but I don't quite understand in what way you mean that, Vivian. -
Madelene #68
Samantha, thank you for your advice.
I appreciate it
So just every other day starting from day 11 until which day? -

Vivian #69
Hi girls! Thanks for the stories! I meant having those little ones running around, Madelene! -
Madelene #70
Vivian, you'll find your way with your husband naturally.
It does have its perks—sex feels more special.
You have kids together and are connected in a unique way, which makes sex feel a bit more special, I think. -

A week, but it can also be longer. I added 2 more days just to be safe, hehe. Good luck!
-
Madelene #72
Oh okay, I just checked my calendar and I'm crossing off the days I had. I did days 9, 11, 12, and 15. And I've now told him we should also cover today just to be safe. He's happy he can rest after this, haha. But I'll try it next week like you suggested
I can't remember anymore which days I took with my oldest. The only thing I remember is that at the beginning of my cycle I had intercourse. And with my youngest daughter, towards the end of the cycle. With my youngest, I got pregnant after just 1 month. Thanks

She's also really sweet and so wise already.

Hi Madelene, yes, you never know, hihi. I think it really did help me. We'd been trying for a year and a half, and then at 8-9 months they told me I had PCOS. So we decided to take it easy for a bit. Early this year, we went for tests, and it turned out I just had a delayed ovulation. Otherwise, they would've started me on hormones, and he said to start from day 11. I really stuck to that that month. Before, I wasn't always precise because, you know, you go crazy thinking you have to have sex on this or that day every month, haha. And I got pregnant that month
For me, it was completely new since my first period came through the pill. -
Madelene #76
Wow, what a long journey you've been on!
Glad you're pregnant now.
And what a relief that it worked out the way they advised you
Is it true that the first one came through despite the pill?
That's quite special too.
Indeed, there's no clear pattern to draw.
Our first one didn't come quickly, but it turned out we were having intercourse on the wrong days all that time.
After that, it worked immediately when we timed it right.
And the second one came effortlessly after 1 month, which I thought was quite fast compared to how long it took for the first one.
And now the third one we're trying for is unfortunately taking a long time to arrive.
Wish it would happen as quickly as with the second one.
Greetings, Madelene

Yes, we are so happy! I really didn't expect it anymore because when my boyfriend was tested, it turned out his sperm count was lower than average—14 million instead of 20 million. The doctor suggested we go for insemination, and we thought something like this wouldn't happen this year; if it didn't work out, we'd start in January. And the same week, I found out I was pregnant. I still can't really believe it, hihi. First ultrasound next Thursday
Hopefully everything is fine. And yes, he really didn't show up until I was already 14 weeks pregnant, so it's a totally different experience than now. Well, it can always go differently. How long have you guys been trying? -

Great news, Sam!! Just had round two. Only, warm weather isn't so good for sex! How do you manage it? -
Madelene #79
I don’t have any issues with that, Vivian, on the contrary.
I actually find it more pleasant with this weather.
It doesn’t bother me at all how the weather is. If I feel like it, I feel like it.
It doesn’t cost me any effort at all to have sex in warm weather.
I think it’s more for my husband

Madelene #80
You're really lucky, Sanantha, that it still worked out the natural way
And it's quite special that your first one made it through the pill.
