Hi! My son was 6 months old when I got pregnant again. My daughter is now 9 months and my son is just 2. I think it's super, really lovely! My son is completely in love with his sister and vice versa. When I pick up my daughter from her crib and come into the living room with her, my son opens his arms wide to give her a big hug and kiss. I also found it very easy for myself. Since you're still in the baby phase, the transition isn't that big. Congratulations on your pregnancy, enjoy it! Love

    Oh my, that must have been quite a shock—I can totally imagine that.
    Well, it’s going to get pretty intense. Try to keep that in mind now and make sure you’ll be able to divide your attention properly later on.
    Maybe consider having your partner, for example, spend one-on-one time with one child while you do the same with the other—that way they both get good one-on-one attention, which is really important.
    Rest well and try to get through until the second one arrives.
    I also didn’t want too big an age gap, but not too short either—something in between. I waited until just before her first birthday so I could catch up on some sleep after the first three months.

    Another tip, maybe useful: Try to accept it later if things don’t go as smoothly at first. Keep in mind now that you’re going to get busy, and that’s not a big deal, but prepare yourself mentally for it now. Then it’ll all seem less overwhelming. The early days might be tough, but as they grow older, you’ll become two best friends who share everything.
