Yeah, I'm also sticking with "plassertje" for now. We'll have plenty of time later to come up with another word for it ;-) -
Madelene #42
Vivian, we also think about it together, you know.
Usually on the weekend. -

Our oldest is 10, middle child 9, and the youngest is 5.5 months old. We have sex whenever we feel like it. Sometimes during the kids' lunch break too. TV on, doors downstairs closed and upstairs too. Our house is so noisy that we hear them in time. When they're in bed in the evening, we have all the doors closed. We always have the baby monitor on for the baby, and we've taught the two oldest to knock. Ideal! The bedroom doors also squeak, which is very handy
.
Showering/bathing/walking around naked happens here every day. We do this very consciously. For us, it's normal, they don't know any better. The kids know when they don't feel comfortable with it anymore, and they should say so. Stiff penises are also just part of everyday life here. Then he's full of pee
. At first, it's funny, and then it's just normal. They already know quite well how nature works here. Unfortunately, we were forced to give them proper sexual education early on. I was pregnant, and classmates could certainly tell us how it all worked. Well, the strangest stories came out at the dinner table. So we bought a very nice book from Corpus! It works super here!
My tip is: don't make it heavy. Keep it as normal as possible. -

Hahaha, then he's full of pee... -

Heeeeeel vol! Hihi! -
Beertje #46
Oh, what does it matter, full is full anyway?
hihi do those kids know much
gnegne. Zoonlief also regularly has a stiff one, it's just part of the deal. So, just like that, right? Often in the morning, he thought he was full then
-
Flower #47
Haha, as long as he waits a bit before peeing...
I think it's genius! -
Beertje #48
He can pee with it just fine
Advantage of being so young

Vivian #49
They probably want to know why dad isn't going to pee, hihi
Nice photo by the way! -
Beertje #50
Dad always has to give the baby the bottle first
Ideal, those odols
.
Thanks! It's been a while now. It's already starting to itch again

Hihi, cute little bear! Just one? -
Beertje #52
I am sooooooo crazy about babies, would it ever stop?
I'm doing it much more consciously, intensely, or something like that now. With the oldest, I was just 18, and she cried for the first 4 months. Now, 10 years later, I also know why. With the second, I was 19. She was 5 weeks overdue when their father left. A really intense period afterwards.
Now I'm 28, have a super nice man, and a lovely family. It's so beautiful to see the development of such a little one, to see and feel how crazy she is about me, how happy she gets from her brother and sister.
Would the tingling ever go away?
(didn't use protection this month, hoping it hits the mark
.) -

Sweetie, can I ask if it was quick for you to conceive with your third?
We're trying for a third now, but unfortunately it's not working out yet.
It's also quite stressful for me, having to have intercourse on specific fertile days, which I know puts pressure on my husband.
But it just isn't happening
With my youngest, I decided to go for it in December and was pregnant by January.
So quite fast. I probably hit the right spot right away.
But this time is so special because this one is really planned, unlike my two girls.
So it would be extra special if it works out.
I'm 29 now and hope to get pregnant before I turn 30.
The age gap between my first two kids is 1 year and 9 months.
If it works out, the gap between my youngest and the third will be 4 years.
But I wanted to wait 3 years before having the third so I could give my full attention to my youngest daughter.
I didn't want her to feel as neglected as she did with my oldest.
Oops, long story.
Greetings, Madelene. -

Madelene, unfortunately, it was for once a very long and difficult journey to get pregnant and stay pregnant.
I had the Mirena IUD. It came out in October 2011. In February 2013, we were pregnant for the first time. It turned out to be what they call a "windei" (egg that didn't fully develop). At 11 weeks, I had a D&C. In September 2013, we were pregnant again. At 9 weeks and 1 day, it turned out the heartbeat had stopped at 9 weeks. I had a D&C at 10 weeks. I was pregnant right away again, but this pregnancy also ended in a miscarriage. This time it was natural. We then went on the pill for 3 months. In March 2014, we stopped again, and the day before Mother's Day, we had a positive test again! I already knew on day 26 that I was pregnant and that everything was okay. I wasn't afraid of a miscarriage.
If I've learned one thing, it's not to have sex out of obligation. Our baby was conceived out of real love. Very different and more beautiful than with the miscarriages. Sperm lives for 3 to 5 days. Having sex 2-3 times a week should be more than enough. Have you stopped the pill or something similar? That can have quite an influence on getting pregnant. -

Hi Beertje, thank you so much for your reply and for wanting to share this.
Oh my, what a tough period you went through, having to endure the pain of miscarriage so often, so much sadness
It's so beautiful and special that you intuitively felt and knew that the 26th was the right one.
It's as if the baby already wanted to let you know that everything was okay and would be fine
And yes, you're right about something that really hits home.
It's much nicer when a baby is made out of love instead of all that stress and just having sex to get closer to your goal of getting pregnant.
Even during sex itself I think, oh, please let it work this time?
It feels so weird and forced.
And too fixated.
My husband gets tired of it too, and he said recently that it's actually driving me crazy but I'm doing it for you.
He gets so stressed about having to have sex on command, so to speak.
I really note the days in my calendar and let him know well in advance that he has to have sex.
Today he had a headache, unfortunately he fell asleep earlier. He also had a busy day with the kids.
Now I'm worrying if the days we did manage to have sex were enough.
That was on days 9, 11 and 12.
Now day 14 has arrived, and it feels like a missed opportunity that we couldn't squeeze it in now
But of course I'm not going to wake him up, otherwise he'll get even more irritated.
Hoping for tomorrow morning.
But it gives me hope, Beertje, that you told me sperm can survive for 3 to 5 days
So if you look at my days, do I still have a chance
if I can't get it in today?
By the way, my two daughters were made out of love, they weren't planned, came more spontaneously, and then the sex was also about love.
I never took the pill.
Thanks for your explanation

Intense story, little one

Madelene, I’ve even heard that it’s better for the sperm to leave a day in between... Then they have more time to mature or something? Stronger sperm, anyway... -
V
Vivian #58
We do that too, indeed, having sex every other day. According to my gynecologist, that's the best and - as I've read here too - just have plenty of sex outside of your period whenever you feel like it! Otherwise, it becomes a bit like what Madelene said, a sort of duty and you'll get grumpy!
But I think this was about how you refer to things with little ones, we're drifting off topic, hihi!
-
Beertje #59
It was such a tough time. And unfortunately, it still is.
Do you know when your ovulation is? For most women, ovulation isn’t on day 14, and it can vary each month even with a regular cycle.
The fertility doctor also advised us to have intercourse every other day. It wouldn’t really matter if the sperm is of good quality.
Yeah, we’re getting off-topic
“Slurf” is also used here just for fun. -

Hihi! Slurf and Slurfje, I assume? I heard "Mussel" from a friend for the girls, but that seems a bit odd to me for kids!
