Hi Femke, as I mentioned earlier in another topic: I do close the living room door, but not our bedroom. Just leave it slightly ajar. And I give the girls their tablet—they’re entertained for about an hour. I tell them, “Mama’s going to help Papa with a massage for a minute; he has back pain. Go play on your tablet for now. Mama and Papa will be back soon.” They’re 6 and 4 years old.

Smart, Madelene! And never caught, right?

    Hey girls.

We call it pee-pee and wee-wee/crotch here. They're already 10 and 9 years old now. Meanwhile, the pee-pee has been swapped for a garden hose and a sausage. Wee-wee stays wee-wee and crotch.

You know, I think it sounds so weird to say "piemel" and I don't know why. That's actually why I call it "piepie." But they probably just know it's called "piemel" from school, I guess, after hearing other kids say it.
I've never really found a nice word for "piemel." I always just refer to it as "penis."

    piepie is peeing on us.

Oh okay hi hi, my sister-in-law also has one that sounds so funny to me. She lives in Belgium. It's nice that everyone's different

    Piemel and tut?
I think I learned that the way I did.. Guess I did

We're lucky we don't have to time our sex... When our little man is asleep, we have all the space downstairs.. Curtains closed..
Little man can't open the stair gate himself so he can't come to us.
When we're in bed, we always leave the door open but I'm too attentive listening.
  9. Vivian #29

Hihi Flower; then you probably don't listen to your husband's orders
  10. Flower #30

    Whahaha Vivian!

Hi! I have a boy, 4 years old. We call his private part "piepie" and for my little one, my grandma always called it a "flamoes." I find it quite funny and it's not so direct xx

I think pee and poo time sounds great! How old do you usually keep the little one in the bath? We used to shower as a trio at the beginning, but that wasn't always super convenient for my husband.. Sometimes we don't have time for sex, and if he's in the shower with me, it definitely gets him in the mood. He has to quickly get out of the shower again, so he can let his girls enjoy themselves! Hihi!
  13. Vivian #33

Tut is also a good one!

    Here’s Femke with us.
My husband has actually always done it from the very beginning.
From babyhood, he bathed our girls and combed their hair after the bath.
    He did it automatically, always.
And it’s stayed that way; now they’re 4 and 6, and they still go bathing with Papa.
Only now they’re starting to notice that he’s different from them.
My husband often feels uncomfortable about that.
He recently suggested that maybe we should switch things up, that I should bathe them and wash their hair from now on since they’re getting bigger.
But really, it’s also because he has more patience for bathing, washing hair, and those kinds of things.
And dressing them after the bath.
I’m often less patient with that.
So it works out nicely that he always does it.
    Greetings, Madelene

Can imagine that with six it's probably enough indeed!
  16. Madelene #36

Yeah nowadays they only start to pay attention. But she's not always alone with just the two of them. With her sister in the bath sometimes there's a fight between them while playing in the bath. And then he joins them in the bath because he always washes their hair and combs it after drying off. They usually go in the bath in the evening and he's off on Monday and Tuesday so because he always puts them to bed and they go in the bath just before bedtime he usually joins them in the bath. Or he lets them play together but comes to wash their hair. But anyway he dresses them, puts them to bed. When he's off he combs their hair in the morning. He makes their breakfast in the morning picks them up from school. So yeah bathing is something he does automatically. You should see it that way. I can't shower with them like he does because I want to be able to shower at my own pace. And that's too hectic with the kids around. When he showers he also gives the kids a bath so he just showers with the kids. But we've decided that they just go in the bath together and wind down with papa even though they find it a bit sad because they're always used to him singing songs in the bath and stuff like that. But he still washes their hair because they can't do that themselves yet Vivian. And dressing them after the bath. Greetings Madelene

And when is papa going to shower with mama, Madelene?
  18. Elfje #38

What a fun topic! For a girl, I also find it a bit harder.. tut also sounds really nice, but here it means pacifier haha so that's not an option for us. I don't use that word myself either, I always think: just say pacifier!
But for a boy, I'd probably call him pip or pee-pee.
  19. Vivian #39

And if it's a girl, then Elfje? So far, "plassertje" seems great to me!
  20. Vivian #40

But anyway, no little one here for now...
