    Hi Nicole,

That's so frustrating! I can totally understand why you'd feel unsure about it! Sometimes your body plays tricks on you and shows certain symptoms like you're experiencing. I'd suggest waiting another 4 days and then taking another test. If it's still negative, you could make an appointment with your GP for a blood test.

    Hi Nicole,

    How are you doing now?
    Did you take another test?

    Hi,

I just had a quick question. I did some DIY work on Monday and Wednesday evening, and I probably ovulated on Thursday. Now I have really sharp pains at the bottom of my belly and I'm starting to feel a bit nauseous. Are these signs?

    Hi Lala120,

Unfortunately, I got my period last week after all, so I don't need to take a test anymore.

Anyway, I wish you a very happy pregnancy!

    Hi Anoniem,

The embryo takes about 6 days to implant. Only then does the hCG hormone start to rise, which is when you'd get symptoms like nausea, though those often don't show up until later. Stabbing pains in your tummy can sometimes indicate implantation, but it seems way too early for that in your case.

    Best wishes

    Hi everyone,

Since January we've stopped taking the pill, mainly because we wanted a baby, but also because my migraines are less frequent then. For the last 3 months we've been using a condom but never checked. A baby would be welcome now, I should have gotten my period last Saturday, but nothing yet. Should I test already? Best regards, M

    Hi M&B,

Have you been getting your period on time all this time?
If you've been using a condom properly, the chance of being pregnant is very small, unless it tore, but I think you'd definitely notice if it came off inside.
You're only 3 days late, so if you were pregnant, you couldn't test for it yet anyway.

    Greetings

    Hi lala120.

Yeah, I think so too if it had torn, I was always on time, you could set your clock by it. I'll just wait and see. Thanks.

    Hey girls!

I'd also like to share my story. I found out I was pregnant in January. At 5.5 weeks, I had an early miscarriage. Four weeks later, I was pregnant again, but unfortunately, another early miscarriage at 5.5 weeks. That last miscarriage was 5 weeks ago on Sunday. I took a test last Wednesday, but there was no second line. However, my breasts are starting to feel sore again (which I also had during both previous pregnancies after NOD). So I'll take another test tomorrow morning, but I find it all quite nerve-wracking????! I almost don't dare to do the test!

    Hi Suus,

Oh wow, what bad luck with those miscarriages!
And now full of anticipation again!
I don't have any experience with a miscarriage myself, but I can imagine it must be so very sad!
Stay positive, girl! And I'm crossing my fingers for you for a positive test!
Let me know once you've tested?

    Love,

    Hi!!

The test wasn't needed anymore this morning; unfortunately, I got my period! Maybe my body needed that after 2 miscarriages in a row! On to the next round!!

Hi Brabbel, congratulations!! How are you feeling? The nausea is finally gone for me too. My pants are starting to feel pretty tight!

Uhm... babble... Weren't you already pregnant for me? Or am I crazy, haha!
  19. brabbel89 #79

    Hi Lala.

That sounds lovely... Are you going to choose maternity clothes or buy cute dresses that are looser and match your own style?

I'm definitely going to do that.

So far I haven't had any issues, except for quite bad stomach pain for 2 days due to implantation, but no bleeding.
I've put the tests on a photo for you guys. I went to the GP today and in 2 weeks (at 6 weeks) I'll have my first ultrasound with the doctor where we can hear the heartbeat.

    Hi Brabbel89,

Summer's coming, so I think I'll go for some nice stretchy dresses
I'm almost 13 weeks pregnant now.
Had my second ultrasound last week, but my midwife said it was still too early to hear the heartbeat.

    Love
