I don't know any better than 1 line is negative and 2 lines is positive!
    Don't drive yourself crazy!

  2. brabbel89 #42

no, on another forum they say there's always a line anyway and they're just messing with me

Then do a Clearblue test, it's as clear as can be!

Congratulations, Brabbel! Two stripes means you're pregnant!

Here the tests remain negative. I don't believe it anymore. That bleeding after 22 days must have been my period, so I have an irregular cycle and no idea when I'll get my period again or what my EDD is. I'm really upset.

Sorry, but there's usually an instruction manual included with your tests... If you've read it, you should know what the result means yourself, and I don't know what you're doubting.

Unless you have a really weird test and something else is stated in the instructions, for most tests (at least the ones I know), it's very simple:
NO lines means: the test was done incorrectly, take another test
ONE line means: the test worked, but you're not pregnant or it's too early to tell with the test
TWO lines means: the test worked and you're pregnant!

I clearly see 2 lines, I assume you do too on your test, so you're pregnant.

yes exactly girls, but I was so unsure of course. I just read your messages, they're so sweet that you were thinking of me too. what Mandy says is exactly right, just as it says on the box, my rash appeared when I was pregnant.

it's also clearly stated on the box. otherwise it would have stayed white for Omo. I did go to the GP with my test, I can tell you it was soooo busy. I arrived just after office hours, unfortunately, and he's not the nicest guy, but he said I'm pregnant! He said I used the Kruidvat tests, but he detected hCG. My line is visible just on the control window, but it's still faint. They retested and indeed, I'm pregnant.

I feel bad for Bunny, but I'm sure everything will work out for her too. I'll keep a close eye on you, girl. Don't let people stress you out. People online were teasing me, saying I don't see two lines, etc. Don't let them get to you. Every woman is different, and every person reacts differently. I also came here with vague questions at first, but you see, they're not pointless. As long as you meet normal people online, not those egotistical ones who don't wish others well!

Stay calm, Bunny. Everything will fall into place at the right time. And Mandy, enjoy yourself too!

    Love, X

Well, Brabbel, finally got some action again. My boyfriend is a bit of a weirdo who doesn't always have the stamina or desire like other guys. He's often really busy. Since I don't know when my fertile window is, I just want to do it every other day, and I've made that clear to him. He does want a baby, but well, they don't just appear out of thin air. I'm not Maria

And now I hope he'll cooperate and stick to it. Just every other day, even if it's a quickie haha!

Maareh.. jumping for joy, or is it still too unreal?? I think that's how I'd feel... that I can't believe it and don't dare to believe it, and only really let myself go when I'm 12 weeks along... but we'll see by then!

    Hi bunny.
It’s so nice to read that you really want it, and I’m so happy for you!!!!
Don’t focus too much on each day because half of it is wasted time...
Do you feel your ovulation at all? I haven’t, and never have actually.
It’s tricky if you don’t know when you last had your period or if you should just be patient and wait another month. Then you’ll know where you stand and can buy ovulation tests. That way you always have your own certainty, and it seems like the easiest solution for you.

It will all work out, believe me. I just had a little mishap in a small corner but it was wanted from the very first time... I’m now on day 32 of my cycle and haven’t lost a single drop of blood yet. It varies from woman to woman, as I mentioned before. I had my first day of menstruation on Jan 26th and had intercourse on Feb 4/5, and around Feb 8th my ovulation apparently happened. I wasn’t really focused on getting pregnant like most people here...
So for me, it’s a slap in the face. I still don’t believe it because the line was very faint to the left, in my opinion, but it’s purple and I’ve poured water over it already. It stays there, which means hCG was detected.

    Don’t stress! X love

Hi Lala, I also think you have a good chance of being pregnant. You don't always have to have symptoms to be pregnant. With my oldest daughter, I had no symptoms at all, only being late. And with my youngest, I had very early symptoms that clearly pointed to a pregnancy. So you see, it's not always the case that you feel symptoms with every pregnancy. Since you're already 8 days late, that says enough. All the best.
    Greetings, Madelene

    Hi Madeleine,

    Thanks for your reply.
I've known I'm pregnant for 3 weeks now.
I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant now.
I have my first ultrasound the day after tomorrow
I've been having nausea for a week now.

    Greetings

Had the first ultrasound today, what a special moment, really!
  12. Bunny #52

Oh Lala! How lovely! Seems really special to me! Things do go by so fast, don't they!

    Hoooooi!

I just need to share my story and am curious what you all think

About 6 weeks ago I had tonsillitis so I got antibiotics. There's a small chance the pill might have worked less effectively... Well, anyway we still had sex because I had the same situation in October. I've been taking my pill continuously since then so I skipped my period. Recently I've had really bad pain in my nipples, softer breasts than usual, and a swollen gland that hurt a lot. Also some mild cramp-like pain. So I took a test last Saturday but it was negative... And now I'm really worried... I have a strong feeling that I'm pregnant and maybe I am, or maybe I secretly want it so much that I'm imagining it..... The situation right now isn't ideal though, so we're not actively trying to conceive. Do you recognize this?
  14. Tjipp #54

Hi sweetie. I've never had to use antibiotics while on the pill, so I don't have any experience with this.

But I do know that you can convince yourself of a lot, and your body will happily go along with it.

When is your next break week?
  15. tuttie #55

Hahaha yeah, I thought so too, silly! I was like oh no, I'm really stressing myself out! Next Tuesday is the last pill... Then the break week. So we'll just have to see! But when you start reading about all the symptoms, you start doubting again, hehe.

@ Lala and Brabbel: I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!

Bunny! Congratulations on your pregnancy! How are you feeling?

    Hey Lala,

Yes, thank you so much! Of course I think it's absolutely amazing, but on the other hand, I still can't really believe it myself. It feels so unreal! I had actually decided this week that I wanted to lose a few kilos and was going to start dieting. To make sure I wasn't pregnant before I did that, I took a test this morning. Right now I was being very casual and just left the test lying in the bedroom while I went to the kitchen for a drink. Normally I'd stare at the test to see if a line appears haha! And now I went back to check after about two minutes and saw that there was a line! Looking back, I did have a few symptoms, namely needing to pee several times at night, moments when I felt really tired, and sore breasts, but that didn't trigger any premonitions for me, because I completely didn't believe I could get pregnant this month since I didn't know my LH and we'd only had sex very little in February. So I was seriously expecting just a blank space on the test, as always. So I have no idea at all when ovulation was or when I probably got pregnant, but I am haha! Isn't it amazing? Finally I get to be pregnant too. The last one in the family, the last one in the friend groups... I always said I wanted to be a young mom, but love didn't work out for me, and now, at 33, it's finally time!

    Here's a clearer photo:

    Hi Bunny,

That’s always how it goes, it happens when you least expect it!
    That’s super for you!
Was your friend or partner there when you took the test? And how are you going to tell him otherwise?
    You can finally enjoy yourselves!

    Love,

    Hi everyone,

I'm Nicole, 32 years old and have been married for almost 6 years.
I stopped the pill in August 2014 and started taking folic acid in November.

Had sex on February 14th and got my period on March 5th, so now I'm almost a week late, but all tests are negative, which makes me so unsure.....

I've had food cravings and now I'm really feeling super nauseous, I'd rather not eat anything at all....
I also have to pee a lot more than usual and yesterday I had cramps on one side.

I'm going crazy with myself, I just feel like I am pregnant..... But that test just won't cooperate....
