Hilma #82
I'll introduce myself too. I'm Hilma, 33 years old and almost 33 weeks pregnant with our third little one. It wasn't planned, but we're so glad it's happening
.
We had decided to stop at two kids because I have MS. I'm doing pretty well overall, though I have been declared fully disabled. Mainly due to fatigue... But physically I'm doing really well, thankfully, and we hope it stays that way for a long time. Now that I don't work anymore, I'm happy to take care of the kids myself. And since my oldest two are both in school (Liesbeth is 6 and Jan is 4), I'll have lots of time for our new baby soon! -

Hi everyone, first of all, a big congratulations to everyone here who is pregnant!!
I'm Daphne, 22 years old, and we're also expecting our first baby. We found out around January 14, 2013. Although our girl wasn't planned, she's certainly not unwanted!
We got pregnant despite the pill and didn't notice anything for the first 2 months since I still got my period.. only in the 3rd month it suddenly stopped even though I'm usually very regular
The doctors first thought it might be a molar pregnancy (abnormal cell growth) because my hormone levels were way too high, or that I was pregnant with twins or further along than we thought... With a lot of panic and a little heart, we went to the gynecologist because a molar pregnancy isn't harmless, of course, and I had unfortunately already had an abortion (which can cause scarring) when I was 16. Not everyone approves of my decision back then, I know, but I was just way too young and my boyfriend and I had broken up. And I wanted to be able to give my child a stable life! But once at the gynecologist, it turned out we were 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant.. Despite my pill use and heavy painkillers for my back, our girl was perfectly healthy... So we were very relieved. It was certainly quite a shock though, because we actually only wanted to start within 2 years since we had just bought our house a year ago and wanted to get everything in order at our own pace.. But nature had other plans, and everyone reacted very positively, even to tears, especially for the grandparents who are becoming grandma and grandpa for the first time on both sides
The countdown can now truly begin, and we're incredibly excited to have our girl with us.
Love, Daphne -

Hi, I'm Sandra, 36 years old and mom of an 8.5-year-old daughter. I live in the Hoeksche Waard (South Holland). I'm just over 8 weeks pregnant and my due date is May 30, 2012, for my second baby. I'll be having a C-section around the 39th week. My pregnancy is going well so far; I do have nausea and am very tired, but that's normal. I wish everyone a lovely big-belly time

Dear people, I've been reading your stories for quite a while but hadn't registered yet. I'm now 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I find it all very exciting and can't wait to meet him or her. I'm 36 now and my husband is 42. Unfortunately, we had a miscarriage a few years ago, from which I had to recover for a long time. We'd like to have a large family and hope we'll succeed. Wishing you all a lot of pleasure with your pregnancies and success with giving birth to those who are near the end. -

We'll have a mixed family; my husband is from Macedonia.
So it's quite exciting for his parents, who are coming in April for the birth!

Esther #97
Hi everyone, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Esther, I'm 29 years old and I've been seriously trying to conceive this year. I've been living with my husband for 6 years now, and we've been married for almost 3.5 years. I stopped taking the pill a little over a year ago and I'm already taking folic acid. I hope to get pregnant soon, but sometimes I find it a bit scary (can I handle all this, etc.). But my desire for children is stronger than my fears and uncertainties, and my husband and I have decided to really go for it. I hope to find a lot of information here and to have nice chats with other moms (in training). -

Ilona Guest #99
Hey everyone,
My name is Ilona and I'm 27 years old. Earlier this year, I was pregnant twice, but unfortunately, both ended in miscarriage. Luckily, I didn't feel much because it was still very early on. I still want children, but I'm afraid that if I get pregnant again, it might go wrong again.
Best, Ilona -
