Hi Natash,
I’m 8 weeks now, and I’m back for a check-up on Monday. At 6 weeks, everything was fine, with a beating heart.
But after a miscarriage, you feel a bit unsure, so they’re doing extra checks.
How far along are you?
Greetings -

Hi everyone, congratulations on your pregnancies! I'm exactly 9 weeks pregnant with my third baby. I already have two healthy girls, aged 8 and 5. It's a bit nerve-wracking how this pregnancy will go, because with the second one I had pelvic instability and still had issues for a long time after. It's also pretty hard not to tell family and friends yet. Just a few more weeks of patience
I haven't had my first appointment with the midwife yet either. In two weeks I have an appointment with the doctor and they'll do the usual blood test. A week later I can go to the midwife, and then I'll be almost 12 weeks. It's a bit tough because I haven't had proper confirmation with a beating heart yet. Sometimes I wonder if I even dreamed that positive test. I live in the North now, so it seems things work a bit differently here than in the Netherlands....How are you all feeling? I'm doing fine overall, just really tired. Best wishes, Renate
ps I posted it on the notice board but I think that wasn't the right place, so here it is again

From here on, tomorrow I'll be 33 weeks pregnant, so excited about everything
Tammi, same here. I also had a miscarriage right after this pregnancy started, and I didn't know what to think—I had mixed feelings about it. Also because two years ago I had a premature birth at 24 weeks. The uncertainty stays with you until those weeks are over.
Still 7 weeks to go...
Liana wishes everyone lots of success in their pregnancies. -

Hi everyone, I’m finally able to introduce myself.
I’m Renate, 37 years old, and pregnant with baby #4. I’m 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant today.
It came as a total surprise for us, since it wasn’t planned. I was supposed to be going through menopause.
I had to stop taking the pill over a year ago because my hormone levels were all over the place.
My periods stopped, I had hot flashes, etc.
And since we have a blended family with 5 kids in total, 3 living with us, and our youngest is almost 3, we felt our family was complete.
That doesn’t mean this little miracle isn’t welcome, though!
So it’s all quite exciting.
I’d like to congratulate everyone on your pregnancies and hope everything goes well.
Best, Renate -

Hey Liena,
Thank you so much, it really is all quite wonderful.
I'll definitely be around here, I think it's a nice site
and you can still share your story.
I have to go to the midwife on Friday, so we'll just take it easy and wait.

Hi everyone!
Congrats to everyone! I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant myself. I've been having a lot of stomach pain and cramps, feeling hungry, but not nauseous. However, I do get loose stools often after eating. Do you guys experience that too? -
Renate74 #32
Hi there,
Congratulations and have lots of fun reading and enjoying all the stories here.
Good luck with the pregnancy.
Best regards, Renate -

Hi Kim, nice, I'm also from Rotterdam and pregnant with my third. Congratulations! How are you doing? -

Hey Evelien,
Nice, where are you from Rotterdam? How far along are you?
I'm in Hoogvliet.
Honestly, I can't complain, except for having little nausea in weeks 4 and 5. Otherwise, I've been really tired, but well, that's normal and not a big deal!
Now I do have quite a lot of round ligament pain and back pain, but yeah......
Otherwise, you can already see it on my belly, and I've been able to feel the little one for a week and a half now. Isn't that special! Then you quickly forget about the pains. I've also been going to a physio for 4 years now, and I'm really benefiting from it now!
On Thursday I have to go to the GP for a check-up again, and on 12-07 for the 20-week ultrasound, and then I'll finally know if my feeling is right!
Love, Kim -

Hi Kim,
I'm 8 weeks now and, apart from some minor ailments, I haven't had much trouble. I'm a bit worried about high blood pressure. I had that in my previous pregnancies too, and with the last one they even had to induce me (suffering!) and that wasn't fun
I live in Schiebroek myself. -
kimjoy #39
Congratulations! I understand it's not your first one! Aha, I get it! Well, let's wait and see then! I've decided that I definitely don't want to give birth at home! Otherwise, I'll just let everything come to me. It's all new and exciting, of course.
Inducing Pff, that's intense! -

Congratulations ladies!
All Rotterdam ladies! I live not far from there
@ Evelien; how many weeks were you induced during your previous pregnancy? Did you also have PE?
