    Hi, thanks for the congratulations
It's a lot of work but so far everything has been worth it. Everything is going well so far. Next Thursday is my first ultrasound. I'm curious! How many babies do you have? Greetings, nice photo

    That's normal, right?

That's nice that everything is running smoothly. I sometimes find it tough because I work and have to wake up very early, and then there's the housework and taking care of my son.

For now, I only have 1 child (my son), but I definitely want another one
    Thanks for the compliment.
Your little boy looks so cute.

    Greetings

That's your youngest son, a real little potato! Yeah, if you work as a mom, you don't have much time with your son, but the moments you do have together are extra special. Enjoy every moment and hopefully soon a second little treasure just like your first one!

    Such a cutie hihi

Yes, I definitely enjoy every moment with him, and he's a cuddler so yes, mom enjoys it extra..

but still, I wish I had more time for him, but yeah, that's life..

time to enjoy is good, lying flat for 2 days already, I have inflammation in both arms (tennis elbow) and now I also have inflammation in both legs, which is terribly painful. You can barely see my ankles anymore due to the swelling, and I can hardly walk. Maybe it’s related to the pregnancy? I don’t know, but I hope to get rid of it soon so I can hold my kids again, because I can’t right now. Keeping my spirits up that it gets better soon X

Oh dear, oh dear, get well soon Karima!
Amai isn't easy, and aren't you asking too much attention from your youngest?
I also had a lot of trouble with fluid during my pregnancy, but much later, I think around my 20 weeks... so early I don't know actually..

    Lots of strength, girl

Thanks for your well wishes! It's indeed not easy. My youngest needs a lot of attention, and it hurts that I can't give him that right now. But luckily, I have a good man who is taking over my role as mom for now, and he's also handling the housework. I feel a bit guilty about it, but hey, no one chooses to be sick. X Looking forward to tomorrow, then I'll have my first ultrasound. Hopefully, everything is fine. X How are you and your little boy doing? X

You should be proud of your luck to have such a good man. You really don't need to feel guilty, because the father shouldn't see it as a burden! But rather as a good deed for the mother of his children..

Exciting, your first ultrasound, let us know!

    Greetings

Things are good with my son, it's just that when he goes to sleep it's not pleasant for me and the dad..

My son has had sleep problems since he was 7 months old, the pediatrician never took it "seriously" I was patient for a long time but once he turned one I noticed it was getting worse and worse.. I said from the time he was a baby that he was breathing strangely and therefore having trouble sleeping! The only thing I heard was, madam please don't worry just clean his little nose regularly!!! He thought I was just overprotective because it's her first child... but you couldn't ignore that something was wrong!!
I recently had a sleep test done at a children's hospital! The next day the doctor who observed him all night told me madam I understand why you're worried your son has sleep apnea! (I knew it but the pediatrician said it was impossible) he stopped breathing 9 times in 1 minute!! Actually it didn't surprise me when he said that, I said I know I count the seconds how long he stops breathing and since then I barely sleep!
From then on it became serious, I went from one doctor to another to get different opinions, and they all gave the same diagnosis he needs to be urgently operated on for his adenoids (nose) and tonsils) normally they don't remove the tonsils at his age but in his case it absolutely has to be because they are very thick and close up when he sleeps!
so yes answer to your question Karima, how things are going with my son... he is also overtired that little man! and me too I'm so tired and I hate that I then have to work!
    but yes I have to,
May 12th is the day and I hope from the bottom of my heart that everything will be ok and that he will no longer snore like an adult man, and stop breathing!!!!

Yeah, I really do have luck with my man, and he doesn’t see it as a burden, but I feel guilty. He’s basically always home right now, but hopefully, I’ll get better soon. xX

Oh no, that's indeed not very nice, not for your little boy and not for you. I'm so proud that you followed your mother's instinct! As a mother, you just know when something's wrong with your child, even if it's your first. Pediatricians don't always know either, though. Hopefully, things will be much better after the surgery. Definitely keep me posted, dear! X

More doctors should listen to moms—nothing beats a mother's instinct! I really hope everything turns out okay with your little angel. Two weeks seem long, but they go by quickly, and after the surgery, you'll be able to enjoy him twice as much without all those fears. I hope you don't know me personally, but I'm really feeling for you! My arms and legs are still the same; I'm in terrible pain, and it shifts all over my body—in every muscle and bone. Tomorrow evening, I have my first ultrasound with the gynecologist, and they'll take blood to figure out exactly what's going on. I hope things get better soon, and I'm a bit nervous about the ultrasound tomorrow. Maybe something's wrong because of all this pain, but we'll see, right? I'm holding out hope for the best. X

do you live in Belgium or the Netherlands X
  15. N. Coppola #16

    Yes indeed!!

Thank you for your concern, that's very sweet. I hope everything will get better with your health too (pregnancy included). Is this the first time you're experiencing such complications during your pregnancy?

Don't worry too much now; science knows so much that they can help a pregnant woman very quickly, and have faith in God

I live in Belgium, and you?

    Greetings

It's normal that I'm thinking of your little boy. I'm a mom myself, so things like this always touch me. Yes, this is the first time, that's why I'm a bit scared, but like you said, have faith in God! Yes, I'm also from Belgium X

I have such a really anxious feeling about my ultrasound tonight, hope everything is okay X
  18. N. Coppola #19

Yeah, I know that feeling well, but it's probably just linked to the inflammation in your arms and legs, which makes you worry so much, I think. But being nervous isn't good for your baby.
Remember, everything will be okay though.
But I do know those anxious feelings; the first trimester was tough for me too. I think I had a subscription to the hospital because I was always so worried (I had some bleeding). But everything turned out fine after that, and I have a beautiful son who's almost 18 months old

Thanks for encouraging me! I really needed that, but I'll definitely let you know how it went with the OB tonight. I have an appointment at 7:45 PM. Xx
