    Hi everyone,
    Unfortunately, I had to terminate my pregnancy last May at 17 weeks. My daughter’s skull hadn’t closed properly during the weeks it should have. After the amniocentesis, it turned out she also had a chromosomal abnormality. Just really bad luck, unfortunately! Luckily, it wasn’t hereditary! I’ve been very sad about it and still find it hard to cope. My partner and I are ready to try again, and I think it might have worked this month. I took a Kruitvat test this morning. At first, I thought it was negative, but later I saw a faint cross. Then I tried a Clearblue, but that showed negative. Has anyone had similar experiences?

    Girl, that's awful. Hugs.

    A faint line indicates that there is hCG in your urine; this is still quite a lot for a negative test. Clearblue tests require more hCG for a positive result. If you test every two days and everything is okay, you'll see that the lines get darker.

    Congratulations, you're pregnant! Hoping for a placenta that's well-positioned and everything goes well!

    Hi,
    We're only on round 2.
    But yesterday and this morning there were still 2 very faint lines as you can see in the photo.
    I'm really unsure, sometimes I think I just want to see it! I hope you guys can help me, I'm now 4 to 5 days late

    A little line is a little line, they tell me... I'm almost 7 weeks pregnant now, I had a lot of doubts at first too... But I can't see your photo..

    I think you're pregnant, but I'd buy a different brand of test and see what it says.

    If only this could be true!
    I hope it is, but I’m so unsure because it’s really faint.
    A friend just talked me down to earth, saying the test line should be just as dark as the control line if it’s positive—so now I’m doubting again!!
    I think I might get my blood drawn tomorrow.
    Pfff, this is driving me crazy

    Nope, a faint line is still a line. My first test was super light too... And I took that at 3 weeks and 4 days... My profile pic is from 4 weeks and 1 day... And I did one more in between at 3 weeks and 6 days... I tested every other day... I'll just buy a different test tomorrow and see what it says on Tuesday morning, and if not, I'll call the midwife... I did that too, I was full of doubts too... But I really think you're pregnant too... My first test looked just like that...

    It's not that light, okay. Otherwise, you wouldn't get him on the photo. Just wait 2 days and then test again. If everything went well, you'll see that it becomes clearer. I can see "the stripes" even on your little photo.

    I see those lines clearly too, but just like what beertje said, do another test in two days... I know the feeling, I was in the same spot two weeks ago too..

    Yeah, I really think so. I've had lighter tests myself often enough. Your HCG is just still a bit low right now. What cycle day are you on now? HCG doubles every 2 days.

    Well, the first day of my last period was September 22nd. So I should be on day 34 now, which is why I find it so weird that I have such a faint line.

    M, the tests are faint but positive. Congratulations! Hopefully, tomorrow there'll be a clearer test

    Do you have a regular cycle or does your cycle vary each month..

    Still pretty regular, though.
    I still feel a bit unsure, you know
    I'll definitely test again tomorrow.
