    Hey,

My aunt is a midwife and I just did a test too, there's a very faint line. She told me to just wait a few days and then test again, you know, to be sure. She also recommends always using morning urine as it's clearer. But a faint line is still a line. I had a faint line with my first one too, but unfortunately, it ended up being a miscarriage. So my tip is, no matter how hard it is, just wait and then test again.

I have a question. I stopped the pill a month ago, and according to my calculations, I should be getting my period today. I did an early test with a Clearblue digital test, and it says not pregnant. There was a very faint pink line. What do you think? I've attached a photo.

I took a test last Thursday and didn't wait the full 5 minutes because I had no patience. Took another one on Saturday. But there's a very faint line, and looking back at Thursday's test, there's also a faint line. The line on Thursday is lighter. So, am I pregnant or not?

    Hi!
I took a Krudvat test on Tuesday and got two lines, but the second one was super faint.
On Thursday I took another test from a different brand, and again two lines, but one was lighter than the other.
What does this mean? Am I pregnant??
    Greetings, Sanne

Sanne, a line is a line, no matter how faint.
Otherwise, the test wouldn't be able to detect hCG.
The longer you're overdue, the clearer it shows positive.

Tested this morning and got a faint line. Pregnant or not? I'm unsure.

Mama, 30 weeks—you have to look at it this way: if it's positive, otherwise you won't get two lines. And what's also important is that it's as dark as the control line, so it's positive. Then it doesn't matter that it's faint. It's as dark as the control line, that's what matters.

    Mama30, that's great news!

You're pregnant!! Congratulations! Wishing you a wonderful pregnancy, and hoping everything goes well.

Thanks Beertje, definitely enjoy it.. And next week I'll make an appointment with the HA.. Wishing you a very nice pregnancy too..

    Exciting!

I already gave birth last January I think the photo is too cute to change
  12. Mama30 #92

Yeah, it's all so exciting! Was it your first one too? It's all very nerve-wracking, especially since we've been trying for a while and then suddenly you see a second line appear. I thought it was pretty clear myself, but still had doubts. Weird, isn't it?
  13. Mama30 #93

Oh, by the way, whether it's a boy or a girl..
  14. Beertje #94

A girl and our 3rd baby.

    Every pregnancy is exciting.

I completely understand that you don't believe it if you've been trying for a while. How long have you been trying?

With the oldest, I was pregnant after 3 months, the middle one after 1 attempt. And the youngest took a long time to come. We were trying for over 2 years. The last one is from a different partner.

Try to enjoy it as much as possible, time seems to crawl. Our miracle is already crawling here. Everything goes by so ridiculously fast!

I also find your test very clear. On which day of your cycle are you?
  15. Mama30 #95

I'm on day 25 of my cycle now, so it's still quite early.. Really very exciting.. And we've been trying since the beginning of the year, so about 10 months, but you always hear about people getting pregnant within three months and then with us it doesn't happen every month.. But now it's finally positive, and my boyfriend is super proud, he's already talking about names and stuff.. Hihi ????????
  16. Beertje #96

You read a lot of stories here about women who are also taking longer. It says a year to get pregnant. 10 months is neat. For yourself, it feels really long!

Exciting! I hope it's a plump little one!

How nice of your friend! Hihi he's totally into it, nice!
  17. Mama30 #97

Yeah, really nice! I read a lot too. Feel free to take a look around at the lovely stories, and you sometimes get so much out of them that you think, oh, I could think about or do that later too.. That's nice, and sharing experiences and all that.. But I always have a cycle of 26/27/28 days, test on Thursday or maybe once more or something..
  18. Beertje #98

Just do it! Hopefully, that test will be much clearer! Do let me know, okay?

I really enjoy reading other people's stories, and I still do. I have a real weakness for babies. They grow up so fast. My oldest is almost 11
  19. Mama30 #99

Yeah, time flies, right? When I think that my sister's kids are already 11 and 15... But she was early on that, and I'm 30 now... We always said we'd enjoy the moment first and the rest would come... Yeah, I'll let you know once I've taken the test and what the result is.
  20. Mama30 #100

Yeah.. Went to the midwife this afternoon, they did a test just to be sure, and yep there was a nice light line.. She said congratulations you're pregnant, a line is a line, but since it's so light, she says that's because it's still so early, I'm only four weeks then tomorrow?? So happy now..
