I have a good friend who’s the only one who knows. As for the rest, we don’t talk to anyone about it. I’d go crazy from all the questions like “why isn’t it working?” Even if they mean well. If it’s meant to be this way and the little one stays put… then we’ll see.
First, let’s just get pregnant for now!

Sometimes I wished for that too. Unfortunately, and awkwardly, we have a very close group of friends. I was going absolutely crazy from the questions like 'when are you guys finally going to have kids'.
On top of that, there are two other couples in a similar situation, and we all know that. It’s often really nice to chat with them about it, but now in this situation, it becomes awkward again. But it’ll surely work out

At our place, only our parents and best friends know I find that quite nice! Indeed, no one keeps asking when we're going to start having kids.. Today is a no-period day, test was negative so as soon as my period comes I'll have to call the hospital

T is officially on now. Just started bleeding so IUI it is.. Starting injections at the end of the week

Sorry to hear you started bleeding That sucks!
Hope you get pregnant soon with IUI

Had my 2nd ultrasound today. One big egg measuring 23mm. (No point in injecting Pregnyl now) One egg of 16mm and one of 14mm. A few more little ones too. Plus the cysts from the Clomid
We're letting things be as they are and tomorrow we'll make the place cozy at home. Not today since we already did that yesterday Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky AND if not, better luck next month.
Curious to hear how things are going for the others here...

That's too bad, Cilia, but good that you're taking the chance you have!
    Have fun with the chores!

Last night my little nephew was born. At 8 o'clock the Skype call came in and I got to admire his chubby little face. I was totally in awwwww

Then I went to the toilet to do an ovulation test... bam then the emotions hit me. Goodness, what a rollercoaster of ups and downs you're on in that moment.

Later I'm going to enjoy some poppe's milk (Frisian for postpartum visit)... but that's yet another high that no low feeling can compare to!

P.S. My ovulation test strip is looking good. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be even better because then my ovulation would fall exactly on the calculated day. Tomorrow morning we're going to have some cozy time again. One last chance before we go into the IUI cycle. I'm curious.

Congratulations on your nephew Skybles And it's super nice that you've already gotten to admire him. And what will your nephew be called?

You can also help out or make things cozy. Hopefully it's a bingo. I wish you so much happiness.

We started the IUI treatment right away. I got the Clomid tablets (I don't dare to inject well). The first time didn't work out, so we only had the second one, but the sperm quality wasn't good at all this time. So we'll wait and see, on to the next round.
  11. Ann Guest #71

Congratulations, that's so nice for you both.

I'd love to join in the conversation here.
We've been trying for a baby since May 2014.
Last Wednesday, we found out that we're going ahead with IUI starting next cycle.
That would be around the end of August.
August 2nd: IUI intake, including injection instructions.
All tests came back clear, nothing found.
  13. $ophie #73

Unfortunately, welcome Linni! Exciting that you're starting with IUI! I'm in the same situation as you everything seems fine but pregnancy just doesn't happen.
  14. skybles #74

    Welcome Linnie!
We’re starting IUI at the end of August. I should get my period around August 20th and then call right away.
    First, enjoy your vacation!
  15. linnie #75

    Thank you all so much.

Just got back from a week away and tomorrow I'm going to the hospital for the explanation.
My period is over and ovulation is in sight.
I'll try on my own this cycle and call the zh on day 1.
Only, day 1 is probably on a Saturday. Does anyone know how that works then?
  16. skybles #76

I had the same question, Linnie.
Her Zkh told me that your ultrasound is on the third day of your period. So if you get your period on the weekend, you can call on Monday. They assured me that there's always a spot available.
  17. linnie #77

So I got a weekend phone number.
You can call it between 10 and half past 11 on Saturday and Sunday.
If it's Saturday afternoon and it's already past half past 11, that's no problem.
Can I just call on Sunday and Monday for the ultrasound?

    Dear ladies,
My daughter has had 2 IUI treatments. The first time didn't work out because she got pregnant right away. Now, in June, she had her second IUI with 3 eggs this time, but the issue was with her husband - this time he had 5 million.
But even now, it turned out she was pregnant.

So it can really happen on the first try, so stay hopeful. She used Clomid and Pregnyl.

    A very grateful mother/grandmother

What kind of insemination did you have? Because it could also be that there's hCG in that. But why test the day after insemination? You don't have enough hCG in your urine right away, it has to build up, right?

    Hi
I'm on my 4th IUI attempt...
Yeah, it's due to curiosity and I'm a bit dizzy. I don't know if that's causing it.
