My little guy is 6 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days old. He sleeps from around 8 PM until 6 AM in the morning, and during the day he still has a couple of naps totaling about 2 hours—sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. He’s only been doing this for the past 2 weeks...
Thank you so much!!
My daughter is 5 months old, but she really doesn’t sleep before 10 PM in the evening, so I was curious about what time other babies roughly sleep.
My almost 6-month-old son goes to bed around 5 PM until 6:30 PM, then from 8 PM to 10:30 PM, has a bottle, and then sleeps until 8:30 AM the next morning.
During the day, he usually has 2 naps.
Our little boy is now 3 weeks old:
Ladies, here's a question: how are nights with your little ones going for you? He's often wide awake in the evening. The last feed at 11 PM takes a while before he falls asleep. Then he wakes up again around 3/4 AM and then again around 7 AM. But my question is, sometimes he wakes up twice a night. I check if he needs a clean diaper, sometimes soothing or walking around helps too, or maybe it's colic. Is he not getting enough from that last feed?? Actually, he should be having 7 feeds per day.
But last night it was 11 PM, last feed, then wide awake! Playing and crying mixed together, lasted until 1 AM. Tried everything, nothing helped, so I gave him a bottle and he slept from half past 2 until 7, which is quite good.
I think he doesn't have a proper day-night rhythm yet, but that will come.
On Thursday, first time going to the pediatrician to ask about it.
My little boy is 10 weeks old now and he's already got his rhythm down.
In the evenings around 11:30 he goes to sleep, and usually sleeps until about half past 8.
During the day he feeds every 3 hours. (I end up with about 7 feeds because he eats when he wakes up in the morning, then again an hour later before he takes a nap.)
My daughter is 6 months old and she goes to bed at 9 PM and wakes up at 7 AM, sometimes 8 AM. So she sleeps from 9 PM to 7 AM, and also often until 8 AM.
My 4-year-old goes to bed at 8:45 and my 3-year-old at 7. I should mention that if we come back late from a birthday party and they go to bed later, they wake up later the next morning. That way, I can sleep in a bit. Greetings, Marja.
My 4-year-old daughter goes to bed at 8:45; otherwise, she just doesn't sleep. My 2-year-old son goes to bed at 7. They no longer take afternoon naps. I always kept them awake on purpose, which my mom thought was very sad for the kids. But if I didn't do that, they'd sleep later at night, and then my evening would automatically start later too, and I'm not up for that. Greetings, Lena
