Pregnant and wedding and master of ceremonies

Hi everyone,
I'm in a dilemma and need some opinions from others to help me decide.
I became a mom for the first time in May this year, to a son. I'm absolutely over the moon.
Now, my very best friend asked me in August to be the master of ceremonies at her wedding, about a year from now.
That's really nice, of course, and that's why I said YES.

But here's the thing..
I got pregnant on the first try with my son. A real gift, of course! I hadn't expected that and was so over the moon because of it!!
Now, my husband and I really want a second child. It seemed nice to us to start "trying" again when my son is about 1 year old. Of course, that doesn't mean it would be on the first try again, but if it does happen quickly, my due date would be around, or maybe even during/while my best friend's wedding, where I'll be the master of ceremonies (together with my husband). I'm pretty sure she wouldn't appreciate that. They don't have many friends and the family is also a small group. So they're not making the wedding super big, but they're still making it a nice day at a venue with about 40 people during the day and 15 in the evening.
I don't know what to do. I really dream of having another child; a brother or sister would be amazing for my son by then. But on the other hand, I'm afraid my friend wouldn't appreciate it. She knows that my first pregnancy was on the first try. If she knew it was "timed" like that, she might not find it so cool.
What should I do??? I'm almost losing sleep over this. Because this is my dream, two little ones close together. And please don't misunderstand me. I'm not assuming it will be on the first try again or that I'm even blessed with it this time. It's and remains a huge gift!
Thanks in advance for your opinions/advice.

Love, Milou

If she's a true friend, she'll just accept your happiness. What you're saying already, maybe it's not quite right in one go? Both, now? She won't judge you if it's good. Friends are always there for each other, right? If not, I don't see them as friends. If you want two kids close together, you should just do it!!!!

I'd be worried about it, you know you don't know beforehand how long it'll take to get pregnant, and on top of that, a year is a long time. Anything can happen. For all you know, you could end up in bed with the flu right after her wedding, and then you can't plan either
A good friend would be happy if you were blessed with a little one again.

I don't mean to be pushy. I sometimes think faster when I type.
