I have 2 kids myself... I used to be nice and slim and tight, without stretch marks or marks. Now with saggy breasts... I feel very insecure because I'm still so young... I'm going to have an abdominoplasty. I love my kids... but I've had to pay a heavy price.
of course your body changes, mine has changed too but I only gave birth in May so I'm giving myself some time to get back to normal. And it's and remains a personal thing. Even if I had to curl up with a hangover (luckily it's not that serious )
Beautifully put, Madelene! I totally agree! Yes, my body isn't completely stretch-mark-free anymore haha, but I have 2 little miracles for life in return! A mix of me and my partner! 2 little lives and people who came out of my body and who definitely give me some gray hairs from time to time, but oh, the love and warmth they give me. I melt away at a simple hug that I receive with lots of love! And what a enrichment of my life! And the only one who sees my stretch marks is my partner, and when he sees them, he sees the woman who gave him 2 children and the woman he still loves very much! If a man really loves you, he doesn't even see those stretch marks. I'm blessed with 2 beautiful kids and a partner who loves me regardless of my insecurities, and we still have nice sex haha. And honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way! I also have a pet, a little cat that I've had for 7 years, and I get lots of love from her too, it's all possible! And Liesseling, very sharp of you haha
What are you even doing here if you're so negative about pregnancy and kids.. You don't know what you're missing, okay.. You don't have to want kids at all, but here you are lurking and reading everything.. Pathetic, really.
I don't have any personal experience with it myself.
Neither of my two daughters had it cut or torn. But according to my mom, I should talk to her today about childbirth.
She told me that the doctors wanted to cut her during the birth of my sister.
But my dad said no, she didn't want that.
The doctors looked at him funny, but my dad insisted that she really didn't want it.
And that was true.
Because her biology teacher had explained
that it's done too often and too quickly on women.
It eventually stretches on its own, and nature often heals itself.
But many women no longer trust their own bodies or feelings and let the doctors decide too quickly.
He himself had 6 children and delivered them himself for his wife.
A gynecologist also confirmed what that teacher told my mom.
My mom was happy that she chose not to be cut.
I myself was never torn or cut, and I hope I won't have to be for the third one either
Hi,
I gave birth to our beautiful daughter 10 days ago and also had stitches. I also got a bruise that was almost black, but now it's fading a bit. After I didn't have so much pain from the bruise itself, I started to feel my stitches. I was induced and heard from the midwife that sometimes they cut the stitches very short in our hospital. This was also the case here. The midwife removed 2 stitches! You can just call them for this Despite the bruise, I now have much less pain.
You can always call and ask if they want to take a look.
