I was wondering if there's a connection between how long your mom's labor took back then and how your own labor goes.
I'm pregnant with my first and I'm curious to hear your stories.
By the way, my mom had a super fast first labor (I was born within 3 hours).

Unfortunately, not so for me..
My mother gave birth to my sister very quickly; she was 10 days early, and had to keep her legs together on the way to the hospital to prevent her from coming out already. I came normally within a few hours on my due date.
Myself, with two weeks overdue, had 16 hours of contractions and 2 hours of pushing with my first son, followed by an emergency C-section. The second one came at 41 weeks in 23 minutes via natural birth.
