Blood thinners/fraxiparine

I'm currently 18 weeks pregnant and have been injecting blood thinner Clexane since my positive test, plus taking one 80mg ASAflow tablet in the evenings and mornings. This definitely won't harm the baby. I also spoke with a hematologist, who confirmed it's not harmful. On the contrary, a blood clot can be fatal for your baby if it ends up in your bloodstream. So definitely keep injecting if there's a reason for it!

I developed a pregnancy thrombosis during my first pregnancy. I was 30 weeks along at the time. From then on, I had to start injecting Fraxiparin immediately, and for every pregnancy after that too, starting at 8 and 10 weeks. I now have 3 healthy kids running around!

Oh, thanks for your replies! What a relief! Did you just have a natural birth?

All three, of course. Well, in the hospital, obviously. With the second one, I was lucky that I had the injection in the evening and wouldn't give birth until the next day in the afternoon, and with the third one, it had been more than 24 hours since I had the injection.
