Is it true that you shouldn't drink Diet Coke during pregnancy because of the sweeteners in it?

That's because it contains aspartame. That's not good for the brain.

And of course caffeine, there's also caffeine-free Cola Light. A small amount won't do any harm.

I wouldn't do it just because of the carbonation and the risk of nausea, heartburn, and all that.

Sodas like Fanta, cola, and orange soda are best avoided when you're pregnant because all the vitamins your baby is trying to get from your food just get washed away. So your baby in the womb won't absorb the vitamins from your food as well. It's better to just drink juices or tea. Greetings, Sjorset

    Never cola light.

I'm really cautious about anything that's not naturally occurring. So I avoid cola too (though it can help with nausea). I currently only use stevia, honey, maple syrup, and sometimes palm sugar or coconut blossom sugar as sweeteners.

Cola Light "shouldn't" be consumed due to the aspartame in it... But I think if you don't drink it too much, it's fine occasionally.. (1-2 glasses per day)

it's well known that cola is actually rubbish,
let alone for your baby in the womb.
I think mainly that a baby-to-be benefits more from natural things in the womb or drinking smoothies, kiwi, or other juices like that.
Besides, the baby also gets restless in the womb because of the caffeine in the cola.
I myself am a cola drinker, I drink about 6 glasses a day,
but I really didn't during my pregnancy.
I stopped drinking fizzy drinks and cola altogether.
I drank tea and healthy juices.
I wanted to give my children a good start in the womb.
    A healthy start.
    Greetings, Madelene

I meant I wanted to give my kids a good start in the womb.
    The mobile made a half-sentence.
