The birth
Uncertain
PienGuest ·
I gave birth 3 weeks ago. My bowels didn't get moving. And I had a lump on the inside of my vagina. And every day it got bigger and harder. I called my midwife. She said to do pelvic floor exercises. And come back in 6 weeks. It often goes away on its own. A few days later, the GP came by. I asked him. He said, I'll prescribe some laxative sachets. Then that lump will go away, because your stool builds up because all the muscles and walls are still so soft, so it can't make the turn, you know. Well, those sachets do help. No more lump.. but still a thickening. Soft tissue. When I feel the urge to go, the lump is back. After a big poop, the lump is gone. But the thickening remains. It really looks like a little bag that fills and empties.
Everything's fine and dandy. But who recognizes this, and does it really go away after a while? Is it just a matter of patience and giving muscles and tissue time? Because if this is a prolapse, I don't think it will go away..
