Cherel, congratulations! It's nice to know, right! RJ, I just saw your message now. We had an ultrasound on Saturday. My feeling was really strong, a boy, and we're having a boy. You'll know today, do you have a feeling?
  2. Cheryl #102

    Hey!

No, I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and it was clear that it's a boy hahaha. She also said everything is healthy, so that's a relief too. Yeah, I had a really strong feeling it was a boy, but my mom and sister thought it was a girl. But my gut was right, it's a boy!! Oh, super exciting. I had him in the evening and I still remember how slowly the day went because I was a bit nervous hahaha xxxxxx

    Hi everyone,

I'm also due in July, on the 18th to be exact. Everything is going well, and sometimes I even forget I'm pregnant because I'm feeling so good. Still, from this week on, I'm wearing maternity pants because nothing else fits anymore. I'm now 18 weeks and already have a little bump. I'm having my 20-week scan on March 1st, and I'm curious to see what it'll be. I'm guessing a boy. How about you all?

    Hi everyone,

I'm also due in July, specifically on the 18th. Everything is going well, and sometimes I even forget I'm pregnant because I feel so good. Still, from this week on, I'm wearing maternity pants because nothing else fits anymore. I'm now 18 weeks and already have a little bump. I have my 20-week ultrasound on March 1st, and I'm curious to see what it'll be. I'm guessing a boy. How about you guys?

Yesterday went by so slowly but today we’ve been married for a year. We’re heading off soon, have some fun things planned. Hopefully that helps a bit.
Congratulations Leah! I "forget" I’m pregnant sometimes, but I do have some discomforts. And I’ve got quite a nice bump. I’m also really focused on it, unconsciously. I’ve been wearing those pants since week 10, what a relief that was! We’re having the 20-week scan on March 6th, just thinking about it makes me nervous, it’s really exciting. I’m curious if your feeling about having a boy is right! Love

We also had an ultrasound at 16 weeks. I didn't see it that clearly, found it very exciting, and were right to be happy in the morning! RJ, you might be in it too, we found out on the same day. Have you gained much weight already? My belly is starting to show now :-)
  7. Karin #107

    Hi hi...

I'm getting an ultrasound next week... hope we'll be able to see what it is then! I've gained quite a bit and my belly is growing nicely, but this is my third pregnancy... they say you grow faster then.....

  10. Karin #110

Hi ladies, we're having a daughter!!!!
  11. Karin #111

hey RJ, yeah it was really super! and on March 8th I'm getting my 20-week ultrasound! and everything looked good! the placenta was against the abdominal wall though, so I only feel it on the sides, and that's right! but it's no harm at all! all girls according to my! hihihi! xxx

    Hi ladies,

I'm joining a bit late. I'm also due in July. July 15th to be exact. Every week I look forward to the Brabbels newsletter again and I've now discovered that there is a forum for girls like me (due in the same month). Nice! I live in Spain so the scans and stuff all run a bit differently. But I do have the 20-week scan too. Tomorrow to be exact. The doctor already knows what it is. I'm still debating whether I want to know. My Spanish friends really want to know and have been nagging for a name for weeks! But I'd rather keep it all a secret for now. Even for myself.

By the way, I have a question. I have a lot of round ligament pain. If I feel really good for a day, I "forget" that I'm pregnant and I go hard at it. Working in the garden, cleaning, lifting, etc. The next day I have a lot of round ligament pain. I know I should take it a bit easier. But my concern is mainly that the round ligament pain is only felt on one side. Do you guys have this too? I find it weird because the baby is growing in the middle, right?

Hope to hear from one of you soon. And I'll keep it a bit shorter next time

    Greetings

Hi Loekie, since yesterday I've been having this too. I think that's what it is. Low down in your belly.. Annoying feeling.. When I lay on the couch last night it got less.. Take it easy! Some of you already feel the baby? I'm 19 weeks today but think I've felt something, but no idea what I should feel. Loekie how was the 20-week scan? Exciting, I have mine next week!

    Hi Joyce, hi ladies,

The 20-week ultrasound went well. It's a girl! At this time of uncertainty, my boyfriend really wanted to know, so I gave in. Everything looked good, and she's very photogenic, the gynecologist said. 330 grams and 20 cm. I'm already feeling regular rumbling in my lower belly. The doc also said she's pressing her bottom nicely against my ribs. That's why. My sister-in-law told me to keep my belly somewhat tucked in, so don't let it hang too much (also a tip for after birth). It works, and of course, resting. I don't take time for an afternoon nap, even though I have plenty of time.

How do you do it, take it easy? Go to bed earlier or just take an afternoon nap?
  17. Joyce #117

Hi Loekie, congratulations on the baby girl! That's lovely! Still a bit nerve-wracking, the 20-week scan. We have ours on Thursday. I sometimes go to bed earlier, but I'm too busy to rest in the afternoon. I actually feel pretty good and not very tired, except in the evenings. I often work two evenings in addition to the day I've already worked. Have a nice evening, ladies, or sweet dreams!

    Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I last replied, but I now know what it’s going to be. My gut feeling didn’t let me down! We’re having a boy. I’m 25 weeks now. Next week the baby room will be ready. I’m so excited. I’m feeling pretty good overall, but I get tired quickly. I also have heartburn almost every day. Who else has that?
  19. RJ #119

Hi Lea, nice to know what the gender is! Did you have a guess and was it right? Is the nursery ready yet? Ours will be done at the end of April/beginning of May. Can't wait either. I had some heartburn for a while but that's been gone for about 2 weeks now. Still had it a bit today after the midwife pushed on my belly. I hear a lot of pregnant women say they felt so energetic in the second trimester, but that's totally not my experience. Enjoy decorating the room! Love,

I'm due on the 14th too. I was completely in shock today after a positive test. I'm already 38, have a daughter who's 14 and a son who's 11. We just bought a house last year, and now I'm feeling a bit desperate.
