Just got back from the OB-GYN. It was expected, but the doctor confirmed once again that it's a "bad" pregnancy and that I'll miscarry in the coming week. The gynecologist brought in a colleague for a second opinion, and they both agreed about the pregnancy. I have to go back on Tuesday for a check-up; if there's no spontaneous miscarriage by then, they'll probably do a D&C. And that's it, I guess. Thanks for the encouraging words, and lots of success with your pregnancies.
Best regards -

Hi everyone!
My due date is July 25th! I'm super happy but also a bit scared. It's all so new. Other than that, no complaints, just tired and some discharge, which is a bit annoying. But we'll just wait and see.
Cheers, F -

I'm pregnant for the first time and it feels so weird. I'm really happy, but at the same time, I'm not. I'm really scared of being disappointed if it ends up being a miscarriage. We've already gone through a 2.5-year journey with 6 IUIs and 1 IVF. We've had so many disappointments that you kind of protect yourself now.
In weeks 4 and 5, I had occasional nausea and pretty bad lower back pain. I also had sore breasts from time to time. Now I'm in week 6, almost 7, and I haven't felt anything for a week now. This uncertainty and fear are really driving me crazy!!
Tomorrow morning we have our first ultrasound. I'm really nervous about it and I hope we'll already be able to see a heartbeat..... -

Oh, that's so sad.
I'm really sorry to hear that.
Wishing you lots of strength in the coming days, and I hope, just like Molly,
that you'll be back here soon with good news. -

Thank you for the encouraging words.

Had my ultrasound last Friday at 6 weeks and 4 days. The heartbeat was clearly visible! Only the embryo seems a bit on the small side... it was 4 mm. The OB-GYN said it should have been around 7 mm. I have to go back for another ultrasound on Friday to see if it has had a growth spurt and if it's now the right size.
I was so happy to see a heartbeat, but I'm not sure if I should worry about it being too small... Does anyone have experience with this or know any stories about it? -

Had an ultrasound today. Saw the little heart and heard it beating, it's crazy to see. Now 7 weeks and a day according to the measurements. On to the next ultrasound

Hi Cindy,
That's so nice! I'm also due on July 25th. When do you have your ultrasound?
Mine is on January 3rd. I hear everyone else is getting theirs earlier...
Cheers,

Hi ladies!
If everything goes well, my due date for our first baby is around July 4th. I already had an ultrasound at 7 weeks (check-up) and saw a tiny heart beating. On Friday, we're going for the dating scan. What can you look forward to!! Just getting that confirmation that everything is okay. I don't have many pregnancy symptoms, just sore breasts. This makes me a bit unsure, but I see it as a good sign. How did you experience the first months?
Greetings from Willemien -

Hey Karina,
I'm due on July 15th, we've known for 3 weeks already. Have you had your first ultrasound yet? My symptoms are pretty manageable, just sensitive breasts but otherwise not much discomfort.
Greetings, Gerdine -

Hi everyone!
I’m also due in July, according to the midwife it’s July 15th. It’s all new to us too. On Monday, December 17th, we’re going for the due date ultrasound. We’re really looking forward to it, and then we can finally tell people! I’m lucky and don’t have many complaints—just sensitive breasts and a decreased appetite, but hey, if that’s all there is.
Greetings, Gerdine -

How did all the ultrasounds go? I’m allowed to go to the VK for the first time tomorrow. I’ll get another ultrasound then, I’m really looking forward to it

Wow RJ, what a beautiful ultrasound you have as your profile picture. So clear!! I was less far along than we thought. I was at 10 weeks. They couldn't measure the baby properly. But everything looked good. The heartbeat was strong and the baby was very active. That was truly enjoyable! On Thursday we're going for the second attempt at a dating scan. I'm always so curious and also a bit nervous whether everything is okay. I'm already counting down the days. I'll add a photo of the last ultrasound to my profile. Love, Willemien -

Due July 13th!!
It's all so exciting, first baby.
And I'm having back trouble, and pain in my lower belly.
Sometimes my breasts bother me, but that's getting better. Is that normal? I'm exactly 11 weeks pregnant now, and you read all sorts of crazy things, so you start worrying about everything! -

Hi Cheryl,
I can totally understand your anxiety. I don't trust my body either and really need that confirmation that everything is okay. It's very normal for pregnancy symptoms to decrease after 11 weeks. I'm also in my 11th week. My breasts are still sore, but otherwise I have no symptoms at all (had any). The last ultrasounds were good, and I'm slowly starting to gain more confidence in the pregnancy and my body. But you're never truly at ease. This is also my first baby and pregnancy. On Thursday we're having the dating scan (attempt 2). What can a person look forward to after that? Have you had your scan yet?
