I calculated 9 weeks myself, but the ultrasound showed 6 weeks pregnant???

I'm really feeling very insecure and worried and just want to share my story. I'm pregnant and according to the first day of my last period, I should be 7 weeks along. HA recommended a consult with the gyn. Now it turns out I'm only 5 weeks. 2 days after the NOD I had implantation bleeding. HCG was quite low 4 days after the NOD but had a nice rise by day 5. Now I have to wait more than a week to see if the gestational sac is growing nicely or if it's a miscarriage.. does anyone recognize this please?

One option is that the midwife counts in actual pregnancy weeks, because you always get those 2 weeks as a bonus. From the first day of your last period you could indeed be 7 weeks, but sometimes they only count from implantation, and then you'd be 5 weeks.

Or a last option could be that it's a miscarriage, which of course I don't hope for you. Lots of strength, hopefully it all turns out okay!

Thanks for your reply. I don't know what to think and I'm super nervous. Just noticed a bit of pink mucus during a toilet visit. I have an appointment with the gynecologist tomorrow... I'm so scared that something's really wrong... ????
