Hi ladies!

Nice to chat with each other about everything related to pregnancy etc.
I've started trying to conceive because we want a child. First, let's have one or two natural periods before we start 'trying'.
I'm halfway through my 30s and now I'm waiting for my period to come again.
But what a rotten feeling that waiting is! I'm already impatient after 1 day. (so true!)
Ladies who also had to wait.. how did it go for you? What helped you control your patience a bit?

I stopped the pill in early November last year. In late November, I just got my period. It was a bit different though—3 days of heavy flow, and then it stopped, whereas on the pill it used to last 5 to 6 days. A few days before Christmas, I was supposed to get my period again, but it didn’t show up. I still had a test lying around, so I took it on the second day of Christmas. Positive. So unexpected, and even more so because I’m now 22 weeks pregnant and everything is going well. Everyone reacts differently. I had also planned to wait 3 months after stopping the pill, but yeah, we didn’t want to go without sex for a while or only have it then with condoms.
You should do what feels right for you.
